  1. I'm currently aboard the Carnival Splendor. So far the cruise is great. Each night, I've been doing a review of my day and I'll post my review of this cruise once this cruise is over.

The ship is beautiful but some areas need some TLC, considering the ship just returned from dry-dock back in March.

  2. Hey CC Family,

We're 27 days away from our Southern Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Splendor. I'm excited and can't wait to be onboard. My family and I already know the next cruise we want to book. Last year, after attending the future cruise presentation, we went to the future cruise desk to book our upcoming cruise.

My question is do we have to wait until after the future cruise presentation is over to book our cruise or can we book our cruise once we get onboard? Also, will we receive the same OBC & rates as to those who wait until the presentation is over? Lastly, will it be better to book at the PG rate or the ES rate? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

  3. When we took our cruise last year out of Galveston, we were on the Carnival Magic and it was pack. The reason why it was packed because it was my spring break and spring break for their students in Texas and its neighboring states. We did have a great time and the crowd wasn't a bother. The pool decks were crowded though.

My advice to you, port days are the best to go the bars, pools, etc bc a lot of ppl are off the ship.

  4. The Carnival Liberty was my 1st cruise ship ever. Very nice looking ship with plenty to do! What's the itinerary? When I said on her back in 8/2013, we sailed to Half Moon Cay; San Juan, PR; USVI and Grand Turks.

We have 34 days left for our cruise. We're sailing on the Carnival Splendor to the Grand Turks; La Romana, DR; Aruba and Curaçao. Hope you have a great cruise.

  5. Been on the Dream out of NOLA and it's a beautiful ship and cruise. We were on the Dream on 8/3/14-8/10/14. The trip down the Mississippi was phenomenal. Last year, my mom and I cruised on the Magic out of Galveston (spring break) and getting to the port was a little expensive. We flew on Southwest into Hobby and had transportation arrangements with ALA VIP. The drive from Houston to Galveston was almost an hour due to traffic. We stayed at the Comfort Inn on Seawall Blvd.

Yes, the Breeze is a newer ship and it's in the same class as the Dream, I would suggest to cruise on the Dream. If the price of getting from Houston to the Port of Galveston don't concern you, then the Breeze will be perfect! Hope this helps and have a great cruise [emoji106]🏾

  6. I came across this product as I was shopping (on Amazon)for my upcoming cruise in August. Before I purchase this, I wanted to get some feedback on this. Had anyone purchased this travel charger before? I see this product being ideal since there's really one outlet in the rooms on the cruise ship and this will add additional outlets. Also, it has two USB ports built in. There's also a 10w version of this travel charger is available as well.

  7. Good evening,

I have a Fitbit Blaze and wanted to know who sailed with their Fitbit? I want to keep track of my steps during my cruise but I believe I wouldn't be able to sink with my Fitbit app until I connect to the wifi at the ports or pay for the internet aboard. I know I do a lot of walking during my cruises. Who was successful in meeting the 10k steps/day while sailing? My cruise isn't until August 13th on the Carnival Splendor

  8. We're flying into FLL (8/11/16) for our cruise on 8/13/16. What are some transportation options for us(group of 8-10ppl). We need to be picked up at FLL to go to our hotel in Miami; and on 8/13/16 we need to be picked up from our hotel and head to POM. What are some recommendations you can suggest? I greatly appreciate any feedback :)

  9. Yes, the Splendor did go into drydock. The Splendor returned from drydock this past Sunday (3/20) and is currently sailing. It received some minor upgrades to the tiles and carpet. They also added new captain suites on deck 9 towards the front of the ship. I'm a little disappointed that no 2.0 upgrades where made available to this beauty but word on the street is the Splendor is moving to China in 2018. I'm looking forward to my cruise on her (8/13/2016). This is a unique ship since it was originally designed for Costa Cruise Lines(Carnival's sister line) as the Costa Splendor but transferred to Carnival.

  10. The Costa Diadema has the family cabins that sleeps five(usually deck 1 or deck 2). The Diadema is the last ship in the dream class fleet that sleeps five after the Carnival Dream(2009), Carnival Magic(2011), Carnival Breeze(2012) and the Costa Diadema(2014). I know this for a fact bc I've been on the Carnival Dream & Carnival Magic. Also an interesting and unique fact abt the dream class ships listed above is that some on the cabins on deck 2 have cove balconies.
