  1. Friends of my husband’s were on a river cruise through Europe. After they disembarked in Spain, they had to test for the flight back to the states. She tested negative. He tested positive. They had to quarantine for two week in a hotel in Madrid. After two week, they retested . Now , she tested positive. Another two week in quarantine. They’re finally home after a month and over $12,000 in hotel, rebooked plane and quarantine fees. They had insurance. But insurance is fighting this.
  2. I’d go with the first day. For several reasons. 1) The possibility of catching something onboard and you spending your last day in quarantine. Better to be in quarantine on a sea day rather than your Coco Cay day. 2) The possibility of the ship having to return home early. Several weeks ago, a RCCL ship (can’t remember which one) had to return early due to a medical emergency. As a result, they had to skip their final stop, Coco Cay.
  3. Thanks. You just answered my question of can you get Dr. Pepper on the ship. 😀 However, I have another question. Can you get Dr. Pepper in the main dining room? Or at the bars? Asking this for my teen-aged granddaughter who likes Dr. Pepper. She has the refreshment package, so she will have the chip cup.
  4. Don’t buy your snacks at the airport. They’re probably more expensive than on the ship. Assuming you have time before the cruise, I’d buy your snacks at a grocery store or convenient mart near the dock or your hotel.
  5. Can we assess the muster video before getting to the pier? If we can do it at our hotel, that’s one less thing we have to do on the ship?
