  1. D03 is in Studio B. I just got my SetSail pass for my cruise on Harmony in April and my muster station is D4, which is directly across the rink from your muster station. I am on deck 10, midship, port side. The photo in this thread shows where all the stations are and having been on both Oasis and Allure with respective muster stations B2 and F3, can confirm those locations are all correct and the same throughout the ship class. Have a great cruise on this wonderful ship!

  2. You're very welcome. I don't think that 10207 is very far from the elevators. But you're right, it's good exercise after eating all those good foods. Make sure you make the reservation for the free lunch, we chose Jamie and loved it, especially that huge piece of tiramisu, lol.

You can use those pictures as you like, I don't mind. Have a wonderful cruise. My husband love the ship so much, we might book the Eastern cruise this year :)

I would definitely book another one! I agree, it's a great location- right in between the pool deck and the Royal Promenade, Central Park, and Boardwalk! We were thinking of using the free meal at Jamie's for dinner, but the only problem is that it would only apply to my brother (14 and a half) and myself because our parents are across the hall in 10206, which is a category D6 superior oceanview balcony stateroom so the "neighborhood balcony perks" don't apply to them! I turn 18 next week so I'll probably be able to take him, although we're hoping they'll be able to make an exception so we can all enjoy it as a family of four! You said you'd recommend using it for lunch instead of dinner? Thank you again for all your helpful information!

  3. Hello, we stayed in 10207 on our December sailing. Here to answer your questions.

-The view was nice, I loved this room. I enjoyed sitting outside the balcony and listening to the music at night. Jamie restaurant and Central park cafe are right under this room. Just watch for the balcony door step, the first day I kept tripping. And for more privacy I had the closet door wide open and changed behind it so people from the other side can't see :p

    - I love the his and her closets

    - It was quiet. You barely hear anything when you close the doors, except sometime when your neighbor flushing their toilets. I know, it's weird. And I don't recall if I heard noises from the pool areas

    - Muster station is D4, studio B

    - We had the king size bed, but I think you can request to have 2 twin beds. This room comes with a nice size couch, comfortable too

Here are some pictures of the room and the hallway on deck 10. Hope it help.

Oh my goodness, this looks so wonderful. Thank you so much for fhe pictures! My only concern now (besides the issue of congestion after muster) is that we're far from both elevators, but I guess that doesn't bother me because it's good exercise, especially with all the food I'll be eating :D it's completely worth it since it's at a good location right in the middle of Central Park, with views of the entire park. I am so excited to stay in this room. I cannot thank ton enough for sharing these pictures! Do you mind I tweet a couple of them? If not, I'll clearly state they're not my photos. Thank you so much again, and I sincerely hope you enjoyed your cruise. Cheers!

  4. UPDATE: just got SetSail pass. Everything is good to go and I have heard a lot of good answers from you all on what is in the room, so thank you all very much for that! I am going to need the chargers the first day because I'll be doing a lot of sharing since we don't bother paying for the wi-if! My brother and I are in 10207 and our parents are across the hall in 10206. Our paperwork indicates that we all indeed do share a muster station, that being asssmbly station D4 located in the back of Studio B (SS paperwork only shows the number, I just happen to know where each station is by both number and location). I've heard it's crowded leaving the ice rink after muster since there are four stations in there and only one exit, and that the best way to avoid that is to go through the casino- anybody with tips on that feel free to reply! The only thing I don't have a whole lot of information on how is the views from this cabin, but I guess I'll just find out on day 1! I'll be overlooking Central Park so regardless of the location, I'll enjoy the view and being on the lowest deck of CP balcony cabins, don't expect the pool deck noise to be as bad as it is for the higher balconies. Thank you all again for your helpful replies! Happy cruising!

  5. Those would be on the starboard side of the MDR and AquaTheater, respectively.

Figuring this may help people, the list that I have created below indicates all of the muster stations on Harmony and where on the ship each letter-number combo meets. Decks 4-6, alphabetical order from forward to aft, even # on port side, odd # on starboard side. Each letter has 4 numbered stations within it with the exception of Assembly Station A, which only has 2. Here are all of the muster stations on Harmony.

A1-2: Vitality at Sea Fitness Center, Deck 6 Forward

B1-2: Royal Theater, Deck 4 Forward

B3-4: Royal Theater Balcony, Deck 5 Forward

    C1: Jazz on 4, Deck 4 Forward

C2: The Attic Nightclub & Comedy Club, Deck 4 Forward

C3: Diamond Club, Deck 4 Forward

C4: On Air Karaoke Club & Sports Bar, Deck 5 at forward end of Royal Promenade

D1-4: Studio B Ice Rink, Deck 4 Midship

E1: Royal Promenade by Rising Tide Bar, Deck 5 Midship

E2: Royal Promenade in and outside of Cafe Promenade, Deck 5 Midship

E3: Royal Promenade in and outside of Bionic Bar, Deck 5 Midship

E4: Royal Promenade in and outside of Guest Services, Deck 5 Midship

F1-4: Main Dining Room Top Level, Deck 5 Aft

    G1-4: AquaTheater, Deck 6 Aft

Hope this helped answer any further questions! Have a great cruise.

  6. As I said no I had the number wrong, it was 10209 not 10206 - that is a regular Central Park balcony room not a junior suite. 10206 was across the hall and an ocean view balcony.

My mistake! That would be the room directly next door to the cabin I am staying in and I'm assuming the number on your SeaPass was E4 if you went to guest services. I wonder if there is a fire door between the two cabins that separates them by muster station? Like I said I was pretty certain that area went to the ice rink but you know it better than I do! If anyone knows the number/location for 10207 please feel free to continue replying as I hope my family and I are not split up in an emergency! Thank you once again Ery for your answers to these questions. It helps a lot!

  7. Sorry just looked it it we were 10209, 10206 on Oasis is an Oceanview balcony. But still at GS for muster last fall (2015) , 10589 across Central Park we were at Blaze

I know that guest services is the meeting point for muster station E4 only and that quite a few of the junior and grand suites are in the section that goes there. I guess I'm a little confused so my apologies! So you were in the GS then when you went to guest services, not 10206? If you're able to find the number for 10206 that would be helpful but the last thing I want to do is inconvenience you! I greatly appreciate your replies. Thank you again!

  8. Oasis doesn't have the Apple or USB chargers so not sure.

Still room for a couch with the beds split.

Our mister drill that trip was at Guest services- when we were on the other side of CP it was at Blaze.

That makes sense! In the past we've always had room for a couch with the beds, one for my brother and one for me.

For muster, do you mean your muster station for 10206 was guest services? Because I was fairly certain that area went to Studio B, I was just curious about the specific number! (I know all the muster station numbers on this class of ship and which location each one reports to and have actually published that list in another thread- if ours is in the ice rink, the number would determine which area of the studio to go to and I'm just oddly curious!) Now I'm a little concerned about being split up from my family in an emergency- I know my mother won't be happy to hear that! The reason being, I saw somewhere that cabin 10607 on Allure (assuming it's the same across the class) was assigned to station D3, which is in the ice rink. Since my cabin is directly across the way from that cabin, I was assuming we too would be assigned to the ice rink, just the opposite side of the ship. If that's the case, and 10206 goes to guest services, that won't be too good in the case of an indecent! If you're able to provide any further information that would be much appreciated, thank you!

  9. We have not done Harmony but we've stayed in 10206 on Oasis and another one a few doors down on the opposite side.

We have loved the Central Park balcony rooms- we are rarely in the cabin during the day so why get a room where all we are is dark ocean? This way we get to sit outside in the evening when we are in the cabin and enjoy the lights and live music in some evenings. During the day you can hear some noise from the kids up at the pool, but again we were rarely there.

Ery, I agree 100% about the noise. In my experience, the seal on the door usually does a fairly good job and I'm not too worried about noise in that area at night, which is the only time I really need it quiet! A previous poster mentioned that the cabins on Harmony are all laid out the same and assuming it may not be too different on Oasis (except for maybe a few features), having stayed in 10206, are you able to recall anything about the cabin or the criteria mentioned in my original post? (Could pass this info on to my parents as they will be staying in that cabin and would appreciate feedback!) Thank you very much for your reply! I think overall, deck 10 should be a great location. I hope you enjoyed it!

  10. Best of both views, you can't go wrong! Congrats on your graduation :D

Just remember to keep the drapes closed when changing

Yes, I was referring AquaTheater Suite... It is normally way out of budget for us too, We were able to book it before the new suite amenities were announced. Last time I was able to see the price it was well over double, almost triple what we got it for.

Thank you very much for the congratulations! I have mixed feelings about the transition from high school to college! Although my living situation will not change, as I will be communing due to the fact that I simply have to have a bathroom :D much appreciated.

Yes, I can't forget to shut the drapes! I've seen reviews where people have seen into cabins across the way from them and gotten more of a view than they wanted! I hope I can get a good paying job so someday I can try out all the cabin and suite categories on the Oasis class ships!

  11. I agree with you.... Then my stepson invited his gf to join us on Harmony.

When we first booked it, I offered for them to stay in the 2 bd ATS with us, they wanted more privacy, I offered to upgrade them from CP balcony to a GS she said NO! Her words were, I wouldn't get any joy out of the balcony, I mean once you look out at the ocean for 5 minutes haven't you seen all it has to offer?

That should have been my first clue of how I was going to feel about her

On the flipside... CP & BW get better people watching views :D

Assuming by ATS you mean the Aqua Theater Suite, that would be ideal as it provides both ocean and BW views as well as your own private "viewing area" for shows in the theater! Unfortunately, those are out of the budget for met family! I love to stand out on my parents' balcony watch the ocean, as the view and sound of the waves is extremely relaxing! On the other hand, I do love to people-watch and in the case of CP, enjoy the lights and foliage, and the action on the BW. Being the worst decision-maker I know, I am very content with our current situation of staying in two cabins to allow us all to enjoy both ocean and neighborhood views!

  12. One issue to me is there are folks right across from you. No privacy, so keep that in mind when you get out of the shower[emoji15]

Can not figure why anyone would want a Balcony that does not see water.

Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

Those are both excellent points. The solution for not being able to see the ocean is simple: I go to my parents' balcony across the hall! We stay in 2 cabins so not only do we get more space, but the 4 of us can all enjoy both views as well. As for the privacy issue, I completely agree as I always made sure to be extra careful of that in my Allure BW balcony, as well as this past year on the Liberty where my cabin had a large bay window overlooking the Promenade- and the rooms on the opposite side. I could see right in! I always make sure to keep the shades shut! Overall, I think it is a unique experience so as long as I remember to keep the shades shut when I shower, I think it's worth it!

  13. There will be less noise then on the BW balcony.

Thank you for your reply! Yes, I agree. My Deck 8 BW balcony on Allure had a lot of noise but once I shut the door, the only house I could hear was the ringing of the bell signaling turns on the carousel, and faint music from the Aqua Theater. This did not at all affect my sleep quality but I would not recommend that cabin to anyone who has trouble sleeping. As far as CP, I look forward to hanging out on the balcony at night and enjoying the peaceful live music performances in the park. Loved watching those up close on the Allure among the trees and lights!

  14. Hello all,

My family and I will be sailing on the Harmony of the Seas in April and I will be staying in 10207, a Category C2 Central Park Balcony Stateroom on the port side of Deck 10. If anybody has stayed in this cabin before, I would love any information on the cabin you can provide for me! Some information I'm looking for:

-How are the views from this cabin? (I've never stayed over Central Park before)

-How's the noise? (Ex. are there any bars nearby or below this cabin? It doesn't bother me, I was just curious as to what's nearby)

-What's the muster station number? (I know it's Studio B either station # D2 or D4, I'm looking for the exact station letter-number combo for this room- just a weird curiosity!)

If the bed is split into two, is there still room for a couch?

-How many spaces for Apple chargers? (It will be myself and my brother in the cabin)

If anybody on here has stayed in room 10207 on Harmony and can answer any of these questions, or provide any other helpful information that I may have forgotten to inquire about, please leave a reply! I have sailed Oasis (interior stateroom) and Allure (Boardwalk Balcony) and love Oasis class (And Royal Caribbean/ cruising in general). Our parents always stay across the hall in an oceanview balcony cabin - in this case 10206, the aft-most cabin on the port side forward hump. Can't wait for April! Thank you in advance to all who replies. Happy cruising! :)

  15. I had Amy on Liberty 3/27-4/3 and thought she was wonderful. I understand a lot of people dislike her energy, and I can see why, however my family and I had a great experience with her. I met her personally and even had my photo taken with her a couple of times during the cruise and actually have her following me on Twitter- as well as Jerome from the Allure! Overall, we have loved all of our cruise directors. I don't remember who our CD was on Monarch but Dave Chapman on Oasis, Jerome Sueur on Allure, Amy on Liberty, and Christiaan Abbott on Disney Dream, all did a wonderful job in facilitating the onboard entertainment and seemed very personable. Overall, I think Royal has top-notch CDs in charge of the top-notch entertainment onboard, Kudos to them for helping to my vacation experiences memorable!

  16. Well, even further than that, the signal for passenger muster is not about getting into the boats. It is a means to provide accountability and control over the passengers during an emergency. It provides the officers with a count of missing passengers, and places them in a fixed number of known locations. This allows the emergency teams to focus on the emergency and not on tracking down missing people or having to look for casualties in the emergency area.

There are many, many examples where the situation was severe enough for the Captain to want to corral and count the passengers, but had no intention of putting them into the boats. Star Princess is a classic example, where the passengers were at muster for hours during the fire, but the Captain knew that there was very little chance that he would need to put the passengers into the boats, let alone have the crew abandon.

That makes a lot of sense. Another example being the Freedom of the Seas fire last summer. They used the exact same procedure and there was only one minor injury! I do have a lot of trust in RCCL and their plans, in my opinion they are very well thought-out and the cruise industry has the right idea in accounting for the passengers first.

  17. Thanks for posting this! I'm guessing it's the same for Oasis. I wasn't exactly stressing over our muster station but it's helpful to know where it will be since this will be our first RCI cruise.

That's exactly how I feel! Not an issue at all, just good to know, especially so that I don't have to worry about finding at the last minute in the midst of the crowd!

I believe the Oasis and Harmony are the same. My station on Oasis was B2, in the Opal Theater. On Allure my station was F3, in the main dining room. So I have stayed forward and aft. My upcoming cruise on Harmony I will be staying midship, so I'm guessing I'll be going to Studio B! Have a great time on Oasis. I enjoyed my time on her as well.

  18. What most cruisers believe is the alarm for "abandon ship" (seven short blasts and one long one) when they do their muster drill, is actually the signal for "fire and general emergency", and the crew go to their emergency stations, not their abandon ship stations. These emergency stations may be fire fighting teams, or engineering teams, or teams to prepare the lifeboats, or those who guide the passengers at the stairwells and take the muster. There are also some crew who do not have a specified emergency duty, and are used as needed, and these will muster at their abandon ship muster stations. The crew you see at the passenger muster drill are only those whose emergency duties involve guiding the passengers to muster, taking muster, and checking that cabins are empty.

Only after the passengers have left the ship would the Captain signal abandon ship (one long blast), which would signal crew to leave their emergency stations and go to their liferaft stations. Since the liferafts are normally intermingled with the boats, you could not have both passengers and crew mustering at the same time.

Also, the crew who take your muster are not your boat crews. These muster station personnel will guide you to the boats, and assist you with boarding, and will then wait with the rest of the crew to abandon ship.

The number of "sub" muster stations is dependent on the number of passengers in the fire zone. Since zone A only has half the number of pax as the other zones, they only need two sub-stations.

Exactly! When I sailed the Liberty this past March, it was her turn for an annual Coast Guard inspection and drill for the crew- caused some bad delays and drove everyone crazy, but in the end it's for safety sake. While waiting to board the ship we heard the seven short and one long blast from the inflatable, temporary port building and my mom asked, "is that a distress call?" So I explained to her exactly what you just wrote above. And sure enough, several minutes later, we heard the one long boast for abandon ship! Since they're such big ships, it makes perfect since that they can't get the guests and crew off the ship at the same time in an emergency.

  19. Thanks! Always one of our "to do's" when we first board anyway, is to check where our

muster station is. That way we are not wondering around clueless 10 minutes prior. ;)

Are you SURE you are only 17 years old? Your intelligence and good grammar make you

sound much older and experienced. My guess is that you will go far in life. :)

Always a good idea! I too would hate to be caught up in that crowd at the start of muster without knowing where I'm headed.

As for my age, I am most definitely 17! My teachers say the same thing about my emails but I just tell them I strive to be as professional as I can be! Thank you very much for your kind words. That made my morning and I really appreciate it!

  20. Sorry! We're on a hump, but I forgot that Allure has two humps.

We're starboard, if that helps at all.

That is a great location! You can't beat the view of the ocean from a balcony. If I had to guess, your area may likely be assigned to either E1, the Royal Promenade area outside the Rising Tide Bar, which unfortunately has no seating- or E3, the Champagne Bar, which has limited seating. Either way, you're indoors so that's always a plus! Have a blast on this ship. One of my most memorable vacations to date.
