Oh well, another reason to avoid them then lol.
I went on Britannia in 2015 and it was painfully obvious then that there were too many people for the facilities available. Seems to have got even worse.
Just came back to looking at this.
Queen Victoria, 1st Oct 2023, 19 nights. Britannia balcony. Cunard fair.
1 passenger £9531 cabin 4006
2 passengers £9498 cabin 4005
It's so frustrating.
UK, on Cunard website.
Are you booking a single or double cabin?
QM2 doesn't appear to have single balcony cabins. The price for the double cabin is the same whether I input one or two passengers, only only the on board credit changes.
I get that the cabins are priced for two people (except single cabins of course) and that as a single traveller I would pay the price for two occupiers. I'm fine with this.
But I don't get why I don't get twice the pre-paid onboard credit? After all, I have actually paid for it.
Many thanks both.
The sheltered balconies are supposed to be a little larger than the open ones, but to be honest that doesn't matter much to me. I much prefer to sit in the shade and these seem to work well for me.
Hi all.
I've not sailed with Cunard before. I'm considering one of the sheltered balcony cabins.
I see some are adjacent to the bulkheads. Now I thought this might be good as it may assist sound insulation from the next door cabin, but then I wondered if the superstructure itself may cause more noise.
Any thoughts or knowledge please?
