Is the compensation only an offer of a discount on a future cruise?

Has Ambassador confirmed what the compensation is and if they will cover consequential losses?

I remember reading when I booked that customer payments are held by a third party until sailing, and that is reaffirmed in their annual accounts. So everyone should get back their money back eventually.

No doubt they chose what they calculated to be the cheapest cost to them. I hope it doesn't bring them down. I'm booked on the Jan 2025 Caribbean cruise.

I didn't enjoy the cruise at all. Some Cunard's fault, some mine. The only positive for me, was the freshly made margherita pizza was one of the best pizza's I have ever eaten.

Morning all. I am taking the office staff and their families on a short cruse over new year. 6 cabins and 21 passengers in total. It sadly looks as if one family (4 passengers) won't be able to make it due to illness, it's 50:50 at the moment I guess. Will P&O allow me to redistribute the remaining passengers across the 6 cabins? I appreciate that each must have an adult.

I suspect the vibration has a lot to do with the speed. Last night we were doing about 15 knots and no issues for me, the first couple of nights we were doing about 22 knots.

I'm up on deck 8. The cabin steward had to put the bottles of water on a cloth to stop them moving across the worktop. 😄

I'm on this cruise too. Enjoying being uncontactable on the sea days. I'm right at the back of the ship and found the cabin vibration so bad the first couple of nights that I seriously contemplated trying to get some sleep on deck! It's calmed down a bit now we are in the Med and going slower. The Med weather has been glorious so far. I have to recommend the freshly made pizza in the Lido. One of the best I have ever eaten.

I believe I'm of sound mind. I'm on QV queens grill next month and am unlikely to use the restaurant for dinner. My body clock is such that I don't do 'dinner' anymore. Surely people are entitled to have the holiday they wish, and to criticise their choices is somewhat unreasonable in my opinion.

Tell people the full cost of the cruise will be refunded and ask for volunteers, I'm sure they would be inundated. 😁

Saga have some interesting itineraries, and they are very tempting. But I feel I would be paying for a lot of stuff included in the price that I simply don't want, and that puts me off somewhat.

Oh that's interesting JDB78. It's been eight years since I cruised and the credit card was recorded at embarkation. There wasn't an online process then.
