  1. I agree. When I visited Montego Bay in August I booked with resortforaday dot com I loved spending the day at an All Inclusive resort and having the transportation included was a plus. They have the Secrets Resort Day Pass much less than the cruise line. It's just 5 minutes from the Montego Bay Port.

I didn't know I could add pictures. I honestly would recommend booking the Hilton as early as possible, even if you are just considering it. Many people research before they book and then miss out when they decide they do want to book. If you book on resortforaday your deposit is refundable up to 11 days before your ship sails.

  3. Not to be rude to the Sneaky Clients, but it's those that break the rules that ruin it for everyone else. I last visited Atlantis in August and was able to walk from the Coral Towers to the Royal Towers, but no further than the main lobby without being stopped and security checking for a wristband. I highly recommend getting a Beach Pass, or the Aquaventure Pass to enjoy the resort. I think Atlantis is beautiful and you get access to see a lot of Marine Life, art work, and a lot more. It's like a Caribbean Magic Kingdom. It's worth the price, check bahamasdaypass dot com if you don't want to pay the cruise lines price.

  4. So do you recommend the Atlantis? Going to Nassau, Key West, and their private Island. We have 2 5 year olds a 9 year old and a one year old with us and then grandparents....really want to do the atlantis just want to make sure its worth the money with the water park.

The weather can be hit or miss in Nassau in the winter. You might wait and book 10 days before so you can check out the weather forecast. Keep in mind that the Atlantis waterpark hours are shorter in the winter months, they are open from 9a.m to 5p.m. But there is so much to enjoy at the Atlantis, I love visiting the aquariums and all the artwork. I've booked with bahamasdaypass dot com and saved a lot of money. Children 3 and under are complimentary. I've done the dolphin pass with them as well, and it's worked out that my husband didn't want to participate so he was able to take pictures for us and saved us from having to pay for their pictures there. Taxi's will be waiting at the pier and Atlantis is only 10 minutes away, rates are about $4 per person but keep in mind car seats are generally not offered.

Resortforaday is another great option, where you can book a room at the Comfort Suites next door for up to 4 guests and get a private room for the day and it includes FULL access to the Atlantis resort. They also have day passes for the British Colonial Hilton which is a nice excursion that is within walking distance from the pier.

  5. I've used JTL Jamaica Tours Limited, loved them. I liked the personable drivers that were very informative about the island. You can check out their website jamaicatoursltd dot com They have have a large office, and also locations at many of the Jamaica resorts. Very popular and well known in Jamaica.

  6. Congratulations on booking your first cruise! That is very exciting! The Blue Lagoon does offer Kayak's but it's at an additional $20 charge for 30 minutes,Water Bikes $15 (30 minutes), Snorkeling Tour $20 (40 minutes max).

The Breezes Resort in Nassau is an All Inclusive Resort and that day pass includes kayaks, windsurfing, and a lot of other activities. You can get their day passes online at resortforaday dot com . It's about a 10-15 minute taxi ride to the resort from the pier, taxi cost would be about $15 one way for 2.

  8. I also recommend the Radisson at the Port. I've stayed with them 3 times and have always found great rates on their website, they have transfers to and from the cruise terminal and their pool is amazing. Wish they were located on the beach, but other than that it's the first place I recommend to friends and family.

  9. Bahamas Day Pass is a new US company that is affiliated with the Atlantis and a few other Bahamas Resorts to offer Cruise Passengers an alternative Excursion option. They have the Aquaventure Day Pass with guaranteed admission, the Atlantis Dolphin excursions, and 3 Bahama Resort Day Passes. I have used them twice this year with no problems. They have a website that you can visit bahamasdaypass dot com and you can even chat with their customer service agents.

  10. Why after 1/18? We will be in Nassau end of November.

When I spoke with a Day Pass representative to see about Day Passes at the Hilton for January 7th, she said the Hilton is not selling Day Passes the first 2 weeks of January due to the resort being at full occupancy. It's harder to get day passes during the holiday weeks when the resorts in house bookings are full.

  11. Currently Bahamas Day Pass is about $10 less per person when you book with them online. I recommend checking the weather forecast maybe 5 days before sailing and purchasing your passes online with them. You can book up to the day before arrival as long as you have the ability to print out your day pass voucher. Their 2016 Prices are the same, but I like knowing I have guaranteed passes so I would still book with them online.

  12. I like the British Colonial Hilton Day Pass. I've used it 3 times, and you're right they sell out months in advance. I like that they limit the number of Day Passes to keep the resort private and quiet. I think it's an amazing value and I've always been treated kindly by all the staff. Each time I booked I used resort for a day dot com I would recommend book as far in advance as possible even if you are just thinking about it. If you change your mind or find another resort you can cancel and get a refund up to 11 days before your sailing departure date. The British Colonial is less than a 5 minute walk from the port, very nice quiet beach with beach cabanas and pool cabanas. Shaded lounge chairs, and water toys and water equipment use is included. It was a perfectly relaxing day off the ship.

  13. I think Jamaica is beautiful. I agree with a couple of the others, spend the day at an All Inclusive Resort and be pampered. Love the Jamaica Hospitality. Check out resort for a day dot com they have 3 Montego Bay Resorts and they include roundtrip transportation. I saw that they just added that Secrets Adults Only Resort for a much lower price than Carnival. I'll have to check that one out the next time I dock there. Have a wonderful cruise!

  14. You should have enough time to do both, my recommendation is to book your Dolphin Excursion for as early as possible, if you can get the 8:00A.M perfect because the Aquaventure waterpark does not open until 9:00A.M. I booked both for our upcoming Nov. 3rd cruise and we are docked from 9:30A.M to 5:15p.m, I've cruised to Nassau a few times so i was comfortable with not booking it through the cruise line, we went with bahamas day pass and saved $235 for our family of 5. We're going to get off the ship and take a 10 minute taxi ride over to the Coral Towers to check in, then spend about 4 hours at the Aquaventure waterpark before our Dolphin excursion at 2:30p.m and we'll leave the Atlantis before 4:00P.M with plenty of time to get back to the ship.
