  1. Hello, we have a cruise coming up and my sister surprised us with booking an over the water cabana for our group. We aren't booked in a suit and are not pinnacle level....I see everywhere online saying it's for these members only...is that still accurate? If so how did it let her book it then? If you had the please of using one of these tell me your thoughts...anything to know or helpful info before we go? We have been to Labadee 2 other times just never in a cabana.... Thanks!
  2. so is Norwegian not allowing people to order more than 1 app, main course or dessert?
  3. about how long does it take to pass through this area and the Statue of Liberty? We have dinner reservations at 6pm on the first night but I want to be outside and see those views beforehand. We are to set sail at 5pm.
  4. are there places to sit at all after you get through security/checking in while to wait to board?
  5. good I am glad it is like this. I know some people arent honest, but my family is. I hope they take testing away finally overall. Doesnt make sense that hubby and I dont have to test by my kiddos do. Either way, one, a few, or all of us could and can get covid at any point regardless of having the vaccine or not.
  6. Exactly...in the past on Royal....if the 2nd adult couldn't drink alcohol for medical reasons then they usually would let them buy one of the other drink packages
  7. We wouldn't be getting those other specialty drinks....thank you though
  8. Oh sorry...that was totally my fault but thanks for pointing out my stupidity. Why can't people just kind? If you just read then my initial post you would have seen I meant what if an adult in the room can't really drink alcohol and the other adult can.
  9. A pregnant woman should be exempt from it...not required to get it just because the other 21 and older guests in the room are getting it.
  10. Oh my goodness...that is insane. Royal Caribbean did in the past that I was aware of. The other person who wouldn't be getting package with alcohol just had to get one of the other packages offered like the soda package.
  11. Does carnival make any exceptions for adult who do not drink alcohol or who can not drink die to medical issues or medications they may be on? I may get the cheers package but hubby is now on meds where he can't drink every day. Could I call and ask for an exception?
  12. Thank you....and when and how do we get our boarding time?
  13. I would have to call and see if it's actually sold out. Online it is showing it is but I get what you are saying with possibly being too far out. Thank you for all the feedback.
  14. Looks like this hotel is already sold out for when we are going...whichnis crazy because we are like 10 months out
  15. Oooo this sounds like something we would want to do. So you left your car at your hotel in Weehawken and rode the ferry over?
  16. Going on my first carnival cruise in June. When and how do you get your boarding time on embarkation day and then your dinning time? We are sailing with other family members so I am assuming if we want to dine with them in the dinning room we need to call carnival and get our cruises linked together? (Thats how we would do it with RC)
  17. tell me about the VeriFLY....this is our first cruise since covid. Our children will not be vaccinated at the time of sailing. From what I am understanding, I will need to test my 12 year old but not my 10 year old because they recommend 12 and older be vaccinated? is that right? And then I can use just a over the counter store bought covid test and then show proof on VeriFLY? Do I take a picture of the negative test and upload it or something? We wont be sailing until June 2023 so more things may be lifted by then but I am a planner what to understand what we will need to do well in advance. Thanks!
  18. We just booked a trip next summer out of NYC on Carnival. This is our first cruise out of NYC. We would be driving in the day before from PA. Wondering if we should find a place in NYC by the terminal to stay? This place must have access to parking either on site or close by as we would be driving our own vehicle and then driving it to the terminal. Not looking to spend a crazy amount for just one night to sleep before the cruise but would like it to be clean, comfortable, have access to parking, and breakfast included would be a plus but not required......OR, should we find a cheaper room over in Secaucas NJ and just drive to the terminal the next morning? Also, any other helpful tips or info we should know about sailing out of NYC? We have sailed out of NJ, Baltimore, and Florida for all our other cruises.
  19. this is my first time sailing out of NYC, are there hotels close by? Usually when we go to NYC (only a few times so far), we have stayed over in NJ and ride the bus over so this will be a new experience for us. I am thinking since we are about 4 hours away we should drive in to NYC or NJ the day before we sail.
