  1. Know one here really knows. The company that administers the RoyalUp program for RCI has never published their algorithm. Immediately after cruising restarted and ships were running at less than capacity, smaller bids had a good chance at an upgrade. Now that ships are close to 100% full, it may take a larger bid.
  2. When my children were younger(8 & 6), we did a combo 3 night Disney World, 4 nights Disney cruise. When the trip was finished, my children asked if the next time we could skip the cruise and only do Disney World. That was the first and last timing cruising with Disney.
  3. We have decided to start cruising B2Bs in our retirement. We never have, so I have a question. Do you need to communicate to Royal that your are on a B2B or does their computer systems pick it up automatically?
  4. Same as it does without a TA, except in the rare case that your TA does not allow RoyalUp.
  5. Wrong word, should have said most upgrades typically happen 3 days out from sailing. The email invites don't always come at all, that's why it is a good idea to start checking 45 days out on the upgrade web page.
  6. Every ship is different. Try again 45 days out and see. Mostly invites seem to go out about 3 days out, but there are exceptions.
  7. Royal Caribbean's wifi service is not particular fast nor reliable, but I still find it useful to stay in touch with family while cruising. Be prepared to have wifi calling drop calls periodically. That said, The key to using the ship's wifi without charges from elsewhere is to turn on airplane mode, then turn on wifi.
  8. Last time this happened to me, I cleared the RCI app's cache & restarted my phone. Was able to see ship's data and check-in afterwards.
