In theory, yes. In actuality, maybe. The RCI app 'texting' is pretty hit-or-miss. My wife and I gave up on it our last cruise and just used regular texting for the duration of the cruise.

The Icon of the Seas has a JS class that is considered a full suite for suite benefits. When I was booking my Icon cruise, I saw them. Seem to recall they cost about a $1000 more than a regular JS. It is possible that RCI may roll this out to other ships.

This showed up in social media posts a day or two ago. All subsequent posts asking for a link to the announcement were ignored. That post also showed a supposed messenger exchange with the mayor of Skagway confirming its validity. Several of us went to the 'Explore Skagway Alaska' website with the identical logo as the OP announcement and there was no mention of Quantum not coming. The link from that site to arrivals & departures still show Quantum on Thursdays. Perhaps this is true, but it seems unlikely. The first Quantum stop in Skagway is 2 weeks away and the app still show them stopping and selling Skagway excursions.

My Quantum cruise opened up entertainment reservations at 45 days which was the end of April.

We were on the Wonder recently and did not find it overly crowded with children or otherwise. As someone said earlier, the cabins seemed to be noisier than other Oasis class cabins. I was disappointed that there was no Broadway type show on the Wonder. That may or may not be an issue to you. We enjoyed our cruise immensely on the Wonder no matter the small issues.

Since this is debarkation/embarkation day, the only RCI tours end up at the airport. Independent tours are also a bit problematic since there are no transportation options that pick-up from the ship. One tour company recommends renting a car and meeting the tour at El Yunque. Not enough people doing a B2B to make it feasible for tour companies.

After researching this, I agree that EL Yunque would be difficult to get in between a B2B stopover, especially since most taxis do not have permissions to go to the national park. Now thinking about a taxi to the Bacardi distillery. Seems to be much easier to fit in.

We will be on our first B2B ever on the Jewel out of San Juan next February. The ship arrives in San Juan at 7:00 am and departs again at 8:00 pm. I would like to book an independent excursion to El Yunque between cruises. Anyone have experience with doing anything like this? Could I get off with the departing passengers or would I need to wait until all were off and the ship's personal cleared us?

In the cruise planner, I now have two day 5s, one a sea day and one Juneau. My excursion in Juneau as well as my specialty restaurant reservation is duplicated in both. As someone speculated earlier, it appears that the RCI systems have some issues with two "stops" on the same day.

Same thing on June 12th cruise. Right now, Royal is still selling this and other cruises with Endicott Arm and Juneau included. At least on the June 12th cruise, Royal is still selling Juneau excursions. Kind of hard to really know what is going on.

I had a similar problem with Royal Caribbean over covid cancelation FCC of about $1800. I had to file with the Florida Better Business Bureau to finally get it resolved in my favor. Sometime it takes bad publicity to get sticky issues resolved with Royal Caribbean.

18% is already added onto the UDP so no extra tip is required at any of the specialty restaurants. If the server was very good, I usually add $5 or $10 as well. but that is a personal preference only.

My wife and I are both D+, but have never used the BOGO D+ perk. Can I buy a specialty restaurant meal for just me through the cruise planner and have my wife added onboard the ship as the free meal?

Is the toiletry bag a new item? Haven't seen it before.

The Bamboo Room isn't particularly noisy. The Royal Promenade will be at times though.

If you don't call, there will be a couple of bottles of waters and some cookies in the room

Was on the Navigator 2 weeks ago and not a single spam flyer was left on the bed. No Park West, no jewelry sales, no nothing.

I was on the Grandeur in late April and the form for the crystal black was left in my cabin. Decided that I didn't want to carry one home so asked to have it sent. The next day, one was left in my room. Wasn't worth complaining about, so I packed it up, took it home and put it on my mantle. Amazingly, a week or so ago, two Grandeur of the seas crystal blocks showed up on my front porch delivered by Fed Ex. Not sure what to do with three Grandeur of the Seas crystal blocks.

They are listed at that price. I have been following the bids for a while and have yet to see one sell.

I was on the Navigator last week and I grabbed a drink at the Bamboo Room. When the waiter brought me a bill, I asked if used my Diamond voucher and said that the drink was $14. I got a bill for $1.18.

Just back from the Navigator and muster station check-in was available as soon as we boarded at 10:30am. This was not the case on the Grandeur 4 months ago when crew members were not at their muster stations until 1:00pm. On the Navigator, the muster station announcements from the captain started pretty early, about 1:00 pm. By 3:00pm, they were calling out individual people who had not been to their muster stations. All were complete shortly after calling out individuals.

Just got off of the Navigator and there are at least 4 freestyle machines, 2 in Windjammer and 2 on the promenade.

Just returned from a cruise from San Pedro and we stayed at the Crown Plaza. We had to wait in line 45 minutes to check-in and the staff just didn't seem to care. The one of the elevator doors was not adjusted correctly and it shut on me as I was getting on and it left a large bruise from the impact. Lastly, we were on the 5th floor and the windows were filthy. Been a long time since they had been cleaned. Great location, but seems to be going down hill.

Get the Chops + 1 package and do both. If not, 150 is my choice.
