Absolutely terrible how she treats the desk agent. No excuse whatsoever.

I find it slightly ironic she was trying to fly in the day before, got rebooked on a flight same day, and made the ship easily.

Wife and I self assisted on Inspiration and was off the ship by 730, and at LAX by 830 for a 12:20 flight.

We used Carnival's shuttle to return to the airport, and would recommend that over Uber as it might be a longer wait for it in Long Beach. Also, if disembarking on a weekday, the shuttles are smart enough to use the HOV lane on the highway which can get quite congested during rush hours.

We used Uber to Long Beach from LAX in February. The driver called us and told us he'd be there in three minutes. It was a white Prius and had more than enough room for my wife and I, plus two checked bags and two backpacks.

It cost $32.

I so agree with you. My history online is a very negative one. Yesterday was the last straw where I almost cancelled. Love the ship and service but my Cruise Consultant is totally worthless... 9 calls leaving messages and no call back! DH will NOT deal with them. I never arrange cruises he usually does but I'm unfortunately in charge for this one.

Yeah. Something isn't right with either their language or booking engine.

On our Inspiration sailing three weeks ago, we had beer AND champagne delivered the first day, and champagne delivered every night thereafter. Prepaid and nights specified through Bon Voyage weeks ahead of time.

Thanks for the tip! What CAN'T it be used for? Since we're in a Yacht Club interior, maybe the OBC can be used for restaurants, pictures, casino, and the occasional drink from outside the private lounge/bar?

We leave our electronics out. Never had a problem.

We actually had 5 people use the cabana and they will charge you for any over 4 but I never told them and they never asked :p

Like other posters, we're booked in a YC interior. I'm calling after dinner to see about the extra OBC as well as loyalty match from Royal Caribbean.

On the sailing on the 29th, early check in indeed started at 930, but we didn't get on until about 130. Hopefully it's different for Imagination in September and for you on your trip.

We sailed Inspiration with FTTF a couple weeks ago. We arrived at the port at 10, checked in at 1030, and were in the ship at 130.

It took quite a bit of time for them to get everyone off. It would have been amazing boarding at 11!
