No, you cannot bring guests into the DL. Yes, your SO can order and give you his 4 drinks. I want to know how to find an SO that will do that!!! lolol.
Nice, thanks! With 8 drinks/day, I can save $500 on drink package. 😄

This thread has become a "Diamond" catch all, so I've got another question. I'm new to Diamond and only because of my status on Celebrity. So, I'm not as familiar with the rules here.
Are we allowed to bring in a guest to the diamond lounge? Also, my SO is also diamond but doesn't drink, how "legal" is it to use his 4 drink coupons? 😄 I assume he's allowed to do whatever he wants with those 4 coupons and the drinks! It's not like a drink package that you pay for...
Thanks!

Nobody else going?

Decided to book this cruise since we just had to cancel one this week due to COVID in our group. Hopefully, we'll all be healthy in July!
I'm going alone, but will be joining a couple friends that live in the Seattle area.

Damn, we're doing Greece on Sep 3rd on Edge. Now, I wish we had booked this sailing!

Usually, we can enter more than one Captain's Club number, just in case watching together. I didn't get prompted this time.
Refreshed a couple times and got it working now.

Great, glad to see others joining.

Just got 7 points and pushed us over to Elite! Finally. Only 448 to go until Elite Plus. 🥴

Will this thing really hold 10,000 passengers? How can it be Oasis class, yet so much bigger? I thought ships in the same class are generally around the same size. I guess I'm wrong there. lol

There must be others!?

I realize they do have some cruises in this area, just nothing on a regular schedule. I wish!

Anybody else wish Celebrity had more of a presence on the west coast? I remember, we used to be able to jump on 3-day weekend cruises on Celebrity back in the day. That would really help me be able to cruise more and earn more points without taking so much time off work or flying across the country. One can dream...

Its weird, because I doubt that any of the spouses would be travelling by themselves. So, in my opinion it shouldnt be a problem really. Why cant the husband (if he is the "main" status client) do the booking to avoid such a problem? I think that it will solve all the problems connected with it.
I cruise without my spouse all the time.

If there were, can you imagine the wait on the phone lines while all who have missed points were calling in, including me?
I was actually thinking the opposite. It would keep a lot of people from calling because they could easily track their history that way.

Is there a way to view a log of points earned through PUP? I can only view past cruses and the points I've earned that way, but nothing through PUP. I'd love to see those. It will be easier to track missing points, if that becomes an issue. I think I still have 5 points pending for the Spain webinar. I got 6 points today.
Well, I just found my answer a few pages back. I guess there's no way to track PUP. Bummer!

I wouldn't panic just yet. I never get a confirmation email after watching the webinars. I checked my account just now and got my points for it.

Yes, that's how Celebrity's Captains Club also works.
How do we connect as spouses in the CC? My spouse doesn't have the same points as me...he has about 43 fewer points. Is there a way to get him bumped up to be the same as me?

Doing Vacaya in Feb, 2023. Anybody else? Looking forward to it.

We just got off of Navigator. They had a meeting everyday and it was always in the Bamboo Room (tiki bar). It was a good spot for it. I wish they'd do these during happy hour though. They always do them later, so many are busy at dinner or attending some of the events/shows. I'd prefer them between 5 - 7...
Anyway, we had a good turnout the first night and met some new friends.

I went ahead and booked celebrity.
march 26th - April 2. Now the wait and excitement begins.
Denman, I appreciate all the advice that you gave. Your comments regarding less kids on celebrity sealed the deal.
now I hope that I will have a great time as a solo Traveler.
Not sure which ship you're on, but hit up the Martini Bar in the evenings. It seems to be the hotspot for the LGBT crowd. On our last Alaskan cruise, it was almost half gay every night!

Will we ever hear from Move Up?
in Celebrity Cruises

Unfortunately, I've heard of people finding out once they boarded the ship. It can be at any time. I would think that would be more unusual though! Good luck.
