As I understand it, there are no quarantine cabins anymore. So, you stay in the one you booked. I'm surprised that Princess enforce quarantine. Other cruise lines merely ask you to avoid contact with other passengers, and certainly do not compel you to remain in your cabin if you test positive. -
Yup, I can see the attraction of CFAR, but you certainly pay for it!

How did you get into your cabin without using your Medallion?

If that's what he wants to believe, fine. Obviously, if Princess want to track him, they can anyway via the cctv system. Why is he worried about being tracked anyway ?

As long as you are with your husband, you do not have to have it with you. Obviously if you want to order a drink, open your cabin door etc, and you are on your own, then you need to have your Medallion with you.

I seem to remember a tv documentary showing captains and other officers practising on a nautical Sim, in the same way that air crew would do on an aircraft Sim.

Apart from those people with a pace maker, I'm not sure I've seen a single rational argument for not wanting to use a Medallion.

If your pocket is big enough to hold a wallet, it is certainly big enough to hold the medallion, which is no more than an inch wide. Just checked - medallion is slightly over an inch in diameter and 1/4 inch in depth. How is that "too big" ?

Sounds excellent, and, dare I say it, more adventurous than most Americans would eat! Us Brits fortunately have lots of Indian/Sri Lankan/Afghan/Bangladeshi restaurants to choose from. To be clear, you ordered these meals in the MDR for the next night? Sounds fantastic !

I agree, Turkey is bit difficult. We had a private tour, and had to pay in lira, so had no option but to pay in local currency. And it was useful to buy a beer as well !

Hmmm - not quite sure how easy that would be, although you seem to have managed it. A lamb jalfrezi ? Tandoori Chicken from a Tandoori oven ? Mutter Paneer ?

It makes no difference - if you bought the plus package, you get the plus beverage package, which includes all drinks up to $15. You really need to read all the posts to keep up !
