    Just off the NS in Copenhagen a couple of days ago. 2 hour wait for Taxi. And, no joke, that was the short line.... People missed flights... At the airport, it was 1.5 hours for luggage to show. 5 wide body planes at one time at one carrousel!

    There are still formal nights on longer and more exotic trips. Otherwise there are "dressy" nights" Just off NS 2 days ago and smart causal is now just casual. I hope the captain and other officers do not follow suit...

    At this point, for trips not requiring covid proofs, it is very easy ant recommended to use.

    How do we know when boarding time actually is suppose to start for the cruise? We always used to know when, now I just see Boarding Group time. Out of Copenhagen.

    Many people still and often dress up.

    There are cameras in the Neptune Lounge, Also, when HIA first started (and for a couple years), the Neptune bar was EXCLUDED period from that package. Then and certainly until now, it WAS included. So, is this new info or old???

    Zaandam is fine. A bit old but still in good condition.

    And the choices in the Neptune are VERY VERY limited!

    And, btw, yes, this is a downgrade for Neptune guests....

    Often could barely send an email on the ship 3 months ago.....

    No life jackets or waiting either, btw.

    On the larger ships you do not go to the muster station. You watch the video and go to a preassigned room on the ship and just get scanned and leave. Easier than the Zaandam!

    Most people do get dressed up from dressy nights.

    Correct, many of these offers are NOT casino offers....some into next year

    Free drinks can work for just one person or two, depending on offer. Or, no drinks at all. Also they can be very lame at delivering drinks in a timely fashion. I was able to have 5 drinks (2 where water) on a very recent 14 day trip....

    Yes there are. It varies per cabin type.

    On the Zaandam (last week), during real happy hour, the drinks where not weak at all!

    Most places in Canada will not take US dollars, just like we do not accept Canadian dollars in the US. Use a CC or ATM, simple. And Canadian money is nice looking also, lol.

    So is it just the NS doing this? Any 25% of drinks on other ships???

    The new Pinnacle Class ships....larger, younger (for HAL). BB King Blues Club and Rock and Roll. But they are still not party ships. Any Caribbean itinerary....

    We are currently on the Zaandam and Happy Hour is 50% off all "regular" drinks.
