Since my cruise is later next year, have not sent in a request.
However as per the email conversation detailed above, send you request to Stockperks at
carnivalcorp@stockperks.com

Below is an email exchange with Stockperks. Replies to my queries were lightning fast and it would appear application for SHB can be accomplished the old way via email, but now to Stockperks. While I could use the app, I think I will continue to use the email method, but, apparently, not until next May!
For those that do not have a smartphone or tablet and thus cannot download the app, how do we now proceed. Can we still send either a fax or email to sbpcl?
...........................................................................................
I can help you out. Can you please forward me the relevant documentation by email as follows:
- reservation details (full name, reservation number, date of sailing and email associated with the booking)- proof of Carnival stock ownership (from within the last 3 months) - on the document I need to see your name, the brokerage name, a date and how many CCL shares you own. With that I can get your claim submitted for processing. Thanks so much!..............................................................................Thnx for the very fast response. My cruise is in the latter part of next year. In the past I could submit info now, but believe that is no longer possible? Please advise. If so that is unfortunate as it precludes booking excursions well in advance to secure space, using the obc afforded by the shareholder benefit................................................................................You're eligible to claim the onboard credit for any cruises departing before July 31, 2024.If your cruise is after that date, Carnival asks that you submit your claim starting in May 2024 when they announce the reset of the program.I hope this helps. Have a great weekend & kind regards.............................................................................-

Hmmm, I made the assumption when bidding for an upgrade for a club-class mini-suite on the Caribbean Princess that it will have a balcony? I guess I will need to verify before I accept an upgrade...
If your upgrade bid is accepted, by the time you receive such advice the cost will have already been processed to your credit card. At the onset of the upgrade program there was a grace period, but no more. So you will not have the opportunity to accept or refuse.

A slightly better location, in their mind, being a little nearer to the center of the ship. No difference in the stateroom or balcony.
-
November next year Sky Princess departs on T/A on Nov 28!!
-
^^^^ Unlikely. The ship is in Vancouver, Canada, therefore for a flight to the U.S passengers must go through U.S. Customs & Immigration at Vancouver airport.
Better answer might be it is exactly what the heading states, as opposed to the Disembarkation Tours which probably terminate at the airport which are usefull for those with late flghts.

^^^^ on most decks.

Received one also for Crown Princess cruise which ended Sept 26th.

For the app to work on the ship, your phone has to be in airplane mode. Then you will turn wi-fi on to connect to the ships INTRANET, which assuming you have an internet package allows you to connect to the web.
Full instruction will be provided when you board.
-
Correct. Use of OBC before boarding is limited to excursions.

^^^ No...the 50% discount should be applied to the price when you make the wi-fi purchase thru the app.
-
If you use a VPN like TunnelBear AND make a change in your settings that cookies are NOT stored for Princess.com, you should see prices in US$.

^^ Black & White is fine.

Hold the phone.....are you saying you can bid on EZ Air fares????? Or what exactly are you saying here???? I have never heard about bidding to upgrade on airfare through Princess.
No, the poster clearly states they can bid to upgrade on the Air New Zealand website. Experience with other airlines may differ.

bjkTX , The invitation to bid is for an upgrade to one of four classes of cabins, upgrade to { obstructed balcony(starts at 100/99, obstructed delux balcony(starts at $150/pp), standard balcony(starts at $200/pp), and deluxe balcony(starts at $250/pp)}. I had an inside cabin far aft. I was upgraded to a deluxe obstructed balcony for $100/pp, occupancy 2, far forward.
You have to agree to accept the new cabin immediately, no problem, I just booked the cruise, I didn't have a great location before, now have an OK location at the other end of the ship. I'm happy.
Those minimum upgrade costs may have been applicable to your specific cruise, but there is no standard minimum bid as you would appear to suggest.
I recently successfully bid to move to a mini-suite (Cat MB) from a deluxe obstructed balcony (Cat DW) for $180pp, which was $5 over the minimum bid, for a 14 day cruise.

I would encourage everyone who is upset/annoyed by removal of the ability to swop the mini-bar for a coffee package, let their feelings be heard by sending an email to customer realations.
customerrelations@princesscruises.com
I did last week and was surprised to receive a 'phone call from Princess 2 days later. Didn't help me get the package on an upcoming trip in March, but the caller did confirm they are receiving alot of heat over this.

^^^^ Princess.com Login to the site, access your cruise personalizer and you will find the link in small print under the invitations to go to Android Play Store or the Apple App Store

Flexible hasn't changed and still locks in the price. As before check the price regularly to see if there is a reduction you can take advantage of.

I'm new at this. When you bid, is the amount of the bid the total for the cruise?
Additionally, I read there are minimum bids. I assume those vary by cruise booking, meaning I would have to look inside current bookings to see the minimum bids?
Thanks.
The bid amounts are per person for the entire trip, not per day. At the 85 day point prior to sailing you should receive an email from Princess outlining the possible category bids and each bid allows you to chose the amount you want to bid.

Not quite true!
Friends in the UK are high up in the P&O Penisular Club. They have booked a cruise on Sky Princess for later this year and have been 'awarded' Elite status "as a courtesy".
They had also planned to join us on Sky for a Norwegian cruise last year and were again awarded Elite status. Unfortunately they had to cancel that cruise owing to illness.

when I log in the full amount shows not the discount, do I have to go one more step and select buy before the discount shows or is it suppose to show at the price showing?
The discounted price should show immediately when you access Medallion Net. Make sure your app updated in the last 2-3 days.

Princess updated the app for IPhones two days ago. That made the difference for me. If you have an IPhone check to see if your App is up to date.
Updated android also at the same time and it now works for me.

^^^^ My issues exactly. Circle status in wrong and no Medallion Net package available to buy for cruise next March.
I sent an email to askoceanmedallion@carnival.com who have "'submitted a ticket to our tech team to resolve the loyalty level issue'

I sent an email to hello@stockperks.com to inquire what process to use for those who do not wish to or cannot use the app. A quick reply from them said, in effect, send what you used to send to SBPCL to the 'hello' email address. However since my next cruise is in the fall of next year, they don't want to hear fom me until May of next year! .
