Hi Mike Yes we have had a successful claim but Tui turned us down many times and we had the go through different avenues, which I can look up for you but it will take some time as it was a few years ago, don't go with someone you have to pay for, I think it cost us about £20. The basic time is when the cabin door is opened on your return flight not touch down which they tried on with us. It did take us a long time to sort out but we'll worth it in the end. You do have to receive a refusal from your supplier before claiming. Don't remember how I filled the forms in but I will sort out contacts if no one has more recent info. Just let me know and don't give up. 👌

Just loved the Broadway shows, best for us was Thriller on Celebration, many years ago, always a definite go to after dinner but things do move on we didn't particularly enjoy the new generation of entertainment but can understand why they have a need for change. By the way Howmuch we are oldies and always had upgrades on accommodation, drinks and flights that's not just a new generation thing. 😊
  5. Thanks DG for your good wishes and am really pleased you've got back into cruising and enjoying it, nothing in our opinion comes close to it but but but🙄. Problem is what to do with all the money we used to spend perhaps turn the heating up. 😊😊. I will still keep following everyone's exploits and may have an opinion or two be them out of date.

  7. Tui have always recommended 3hrs check in for Caribbean flights, even pre covid. Enjoy 😎
  8. Hi Nokiaman Pleased you enjoyed your cruise and the Caribbean is great, we did find, after many cruises with Tui, that the upgrade on the flights was well worth it, understand its expensive but its far more comfortable. Enjoy.

  10. Aruba is such a great stop over, difficult to understand why they have done this without any explanation. Feel for you. 🙄
  11. It's unfortunate but something we have to live with now that cases can be opened with an airport security key. 🙄
  12. Hi Rob I can only tell you how it was pre covid and that was you only checked in with hand luggage at the airport, it was a dedicated check in queue. You did all the the customs things on board with the Barbados official's. So I think it may be as P&O. Hope this helps.

Hi MM as you have had no replies I will give you our pre covid experience, also we only ever booked onboard which was usually on the first sea day when they had a presentation of all excursions. It was either a full or half day excursion and you only received the actual departure time when you received your tickets, delivered to you cabin. Experience would suggest that you do not rely on a return time as your coach can, and often is,be delayed which can be hours. Good luck and enjoy.

  16. That will be a great improvement, and about time. Never did like climbing into the bath for a shower 🙄 did try a bath once very interesting on a choppy sea😂😂. We are OK thank you.

  19. Happened to us RR we did get our money back but they did it again on our next cruise, we sorted it out onboard being aware of problem 🙄
  20. Remember him from our Golden anniversary cruise on Celebration but he has a new partner, he sang in English but could not speak it, 👍

  22. Hi LC as no one has replied I can tell you how the system worked in pre covid times, you received your labels at airport check in and your boarding passes at ship check in. It all works well. Enjoy your cruise.
