Hi sunshinewelly absolutely fantastic cruise you are going on but am surprised you could book it without insurance, you will require world wide cruise insurance and we have found the best is through bank or building society. Enjoy and good luck.

Don't forget to sit on the left side of the coach from the airport and obviously the reverse on the way back. Great views 😀

Think you have one option of a reduced price when booking on board and that is when you are arriving late and book the next day so you don't pay for the day you couldn't use anyway, used it once😉

Thanks for the review RR hope you had a good time although it obviously did not reach your past experiences. Unfortunately I feel we will never return to the type of cruising we experienced when we first started, many years ago, but it's all new and enjoyable for the next generation. Think we maybe just try one more 😎

Totally agree with that SS have done both, but would still recommend that for first timers that they use the ships excursions, and if not they take passports with them, some friends of ours had a problem with the return train from Herculaneum with a two hour delay and mised the ship it was very expensive to catch up fortunately they had taken passports.

Feel you should advise them to only go with ships excursions until they have been on a couple of cruises, because the ship will sail without them if late back, we have seen this a few times. Also recommend that they take the phone number of the guide just in case they get lost or separated from the group. 👍

You can also pay for extra weight, but you do have a max per piece, think it's 23kg but check that😉

It would be interesting to know how many customers have had accounting issues and how many they get away with, I was fortunate in spotting ours prior to disembarking, that was three times in 57 cruises. 🙄

Thanks for your reply and info, most informative. The only reason we are moving from Marella is that we no longer wish to fly but after nearly sixty cruises with them we are a little apprehensive. I can help with any questions re Marella. Thanks 😎

Hi all we are hoping to book our first Ambassador cruise, after doing many with Marella, and would like to ask a couple of questions please. We are looking at cruises from Liverpool and would ask for any info on parking, we do like a more formal cruise and would ask how many formal nights they have PW. Sorry if this has been asked before but just looking for any info. Thanks in advance PC 😎
