Yes they had it on the Oct 3rd Liberty cruise
Can (semi) confirm. We were unable to see it since we got into the theater 10 minutes before the show and couldn't find a seat.

Our 5-day to Bermuda became a 5-day to Canada (thanks, Hurricane Joaquin!) and we got a refundable OBC of $1,200. That, plus our TA OBC, and our excursions being refunded, put us up over $1,300 which was posted to our credit card the day after the cruise.

Are these lines for suite guests well marked? Last time I cruised (not out of Cape Liberty), I couldn't find anything and asked an employee who looked at me like I was crazy and pointed to the regular line.
Yes. Well enough that I was able to see them without my glasses on, lol.
As another poster mentioned, the priority line for both Security and check-in for Suite Guests will be on the left hand side. There is a sign that says something to the effect of "Reserved for Suite Guests and Pinnacle Members."

Lucky me - get to be sailing on the Anthem 11/4 - 6. We will be carrying onboard our luggage; no porters for this sailing. Will only have rollon bag and big purse, but I have a bad knee. How long is the walk into the terminal and then boarding the ship?
Approximately 1,500 feet from parking spot to boarding the ship.

Thank you both. It's well worth paying for. Not available at all cruise terminals, so I'm glad I asked.
Thanks again!
We stood in the line and, to be honest, it moved pretty quick. From picking up our luggage to clearing Immigration was, tops, five minutes. Very painless.
Hi,I am boarding Liberty on 10/22 and have a GS. I was wondering if there is any special line for suite passengers. It says priority boarding but I am not sure what that means. I am just wondering, do I look for a specific check-in line after security?
Thank you
There are two "Priority" lines for Suite guests. One to get through Security and one to check in after Security.

We just got off the Liberty of the Seas at Cape Liberty. I can report the parking garage is NOT open yet.

I am sorry to hear that your cruise is not going as planned, but I am happy to see that you are taking it in stride. I hope you have an amazing time.
While I won't lie and say we're not disappointed, it's certainly not anybody's fault that a hurricane decided to roar past really close to our scheduled destination.
When life gives you lemons, you make Canadian lemonade, right?

I wonder if RC will provide a discount?
According to the e-mail we received, we're getting OBC which, if unused, will be refunded to us.
Considering Bermuda is now under a Tropical Storm Warning and Hurricane Watch, I'm not sure it would be a very good destination anyway right now.

Maybe you'd cruise the Long Island Sound. ;)
I just had a mental image of the Liberty of the Seas boating around in circles in the Upper Bay.
"This is the Captain speaking. Due to an itinerary change, our next port of call will be Newark. Have fun!"

"Security check! Step out of line and into my office." :D
(snaps the cuff of the rubber gloves he's wearing)

Thank you sir. Appreciate it!

Apologies if this has been answered already, but I searched the forums and could not find it.
Okay, so we're going to Bermuda next month and we'll probably use the ferry and taxis to get around. I don't have much experience with taxis (I usually drive myself wherever I need to go or take a shuttle / bus, or trains where they're offered), so I'm unsure what would be an appropriate tip for the driver, assuming good service.
Is it the usual 15-20%, much like what you would tip your server at a restaurant?

Hi everyone. My wife and I will be sailing RCI Liberty of the Seas from Bayonne, NJ for a 5 night cruise to Bermuda. This will be our first time cruising, and we're very excited!! ....
Which one are you doing? The one at the beginning of the month (10/3) or the later one?
-
Heh, yup. Thanks for the update!

Tunk,
I have to ask, only because, it brings out an obsessive thing wiht me. Are you from Northeast PA or North East, PA?
It is kind of amusing that North East, PA is in the northwestern part of PA. But it rather fits the entire schizophrenic theme of the Commonwealth rather well, I think.
But to answer your question, to paraphrase Tina Fey (who was imitating Sarah Palin): "I can see New Jersey from my house!".

Always good for a laugh. Someone posts an horrific story that is actually very relevant to CC and half the replies are Punctuation and layout critiques.

Alright, here's mine:
Greetings and salutations.I will be out of the country until (day), (date) and will have no access to e-mail and phone during this time. I will reply to your e-mail after I return.
If you need more immediate assistance, please contact the Squadron commander, Captain (person), at (e-mail and phone number). Thank you.
Kindest regards, (boring standard regulation signature block)
(yawn) As boring as bathwater. I really wish I could use some of the more "creative" ones posted in this thread.

I was on the Breakaway last week (9/6-9/13) and purchased the 3 day WiFi package as well.
What was the quality/speed of the connection? Good enough for video chat with the folks back home?

has anyone done a night time glass bottom boat excursion? carnival is offering it and there are no reviews. i could not find anything on trip adviser either.

Just printed my sign and sail pass and it does not include luggage tags, are they mailed to you or how to get them?
The luggage tag in your Set Sail pass is not your real luggage tags. It's kind of an abstract sample.
The "real" ones that you can print up will be in your Cruise Documents.

Will be at a nude cruise from XXX, X, XXXX to XXX, X, XXXX. If you need to contact me, please call my assistant at XXX-XXX-XXXX and she will patch you into me.
This would seriously make people's heads explode.

The messages don't come directly from Royal Caribbean. They contract with a company called Everbridge for mass critical notifications.
We use Everbridge at my job and they're legit.
Generally speaking, if you get a (legit) message from RCL, and you acknowledge it, that will usually stop the repeats. One of the options when sending alerts through Everbridge is re-sending if no acknowledgment was received, to make sure the recipient gets the message.
EDIT: Yikes! I just noticed the OP posted this two years ago! I hope he's still not getting those messages!

I have always been afraid of using free wifi in ports. Is there a way to protect your passwords and personal info while in port?
If your e-mail clients are set up properly, they will send all information through an encrypted link. Consult with whoever provides your email service to make sure you're using either SSL or STARTTLS protocols.
When using a web-browser, look at the address (the URL) or the website you're on. Take a note of the part that starts with "http://". If it says "http://", then assume anything you send back and forth can be read by anybody who may be eavesdropping on the connection. If it starts with "https://" (note the "s") then it should be a secured connection which is very difficult to intercept data from.
