  1. Thanks everyone! Sounds like both public and NCL ferries can be accessed w/scooter or wheelchair. @kokopelli-az, appreciate the links w/pictures. I was worried when someone in that thread mentioned having to lift them on because they wouldn't be able to lift her on but the pictures looked like she could ride the scooter right on or be pushed on the wheelchair aboard. Thanks for the handicapped tour information too, I'll definitely have her look into those.
  2. I know I wouldn't be happy if that happened to me after waiting 90 minutes. However, if they all showed up at the beginning and then some of them left here and there to go get food, drinks, etc. I wouldn't be upset. Especially if they mention it to the non-group person behind them in line. At least you'd KNOW early on that there were that many people in front of you....
  3. Going in July to Bermuda with my niece and sister. Sister needs to be in a wheelchair or scooter. Does anyone know of any "walking tours" or accessible van tours? Also, do the public ferries to Hamilton/St. George have accessibility? What about NCL complimentary St. George ferry? My sister just got back from a cruise but had been to all the ports before so she didn't get off but has never been to Bermuda. Thanks for any advice.
  4. When checking online it looks like from May 1 to Oct 31 you can only ride on the beach only below the high water line between 5am and 8am. No South Shore beaches but the trail can be accessed anytime. Watson's stables shows as opening at 6am so it does seem like he may take riders that early. Thanks for all the help and hope it helped the OP a little.
  5. @Charles4515, thanks! I was originally thinking about going around 9:00 a.m. and thought that was early but if Watson's will do a ride that early, I'm there! That way I'll have more time to go see other places I was planning to visit. OP, the website does mention you can gallop but also says minimum age for children is 9 but maybe if you explain they compete they might make an exception. If you do go and it's before July, maybe you can post about the experience!
  6. @princeton123211I do a beach horseback ride in at least one port every cruise. I'm planning to do this excursion during my July Bermuda cruise. Sounds like you might have some experience with this vendor. Other than being nose to tail(which I don't mind, I'm not an experienced rider), any other details you can share? They do mention beach rides, were you able to ride along a beach or at least close to one with at least a view of the water?
  7. Just saw this and does look like Spirit is the only ship that currently offers Soul Play; says it for all ages but also says there IS an additional cost??
  8. Can you be more exact? 😂 That's awesome, thanks! It seemed like you were there during prime flight times but the ship won't even get until 10 am when I go, so thinking I may need to get there quick. Maybe I'll take taxi there and the $3 (or $2) on the way back....
  9. Thanks for sharing your day at Maho Beach! That's exactly what I've been planning to do when I'm there next Summer. Can you provide approximate timing for your day there(i.e., time you left ship, hours spent at Maho and time you left to return to ship, etc.?). Trying to determine which way to go would work best.
  10. I'm planning on doing a beach horseback ride and going to Kon Tiki after the ride on my cruise next March, so I'm interested in hearing about cruiser's experiences too! I read that you just stand at the sign on the beach, wave and the boat driver will come pick you up.
