In May 2022, we had a day bed for just DH and myself. The day bed next to us had at least 9 young adults going in and out of it. No one said anything to them.

Usually early show is around 7. When you get on board, go the the MDR and see if you can make a reservation for an earlier time. If not, you can go without one but may have to wait in line

MTD isn’t like on NCL. On NCL you can go anytime the MDR is open, usually between 5:30 and 9 pm. On RCL, MTD is scheduled anytime between usually 6:30 and 8:00. This is between the early seating at 5:30 and the late seating of 8 or 8:30. So if you don’t make a reservation for sometime between the 6:30 and 8pm MTD timeframe, you usually have to wait in line to be seated. We choose MTD because we like to eat between 6-6:30. So early seating is too early and late seating is too late. So with MTD, we usually pick the 6:30 spot and that way we have time to freshen up after excursions and then head to dinner. And we are out in plenty of time for the 9pm show.

Book shows and added fee activities as soon as you get on unless they are offered to book now. Also book your dining time now if you are MTD. As already stated read CC threads on your ship. We also watch a YouTube video on the ship

So I finally got through to casino royale. They didn’t actually have the OBC or free slot play listed but after a brief hold to research my booking offer, the rep came back on and said that it was their mistake and immediately added the free slot play and also put a request out for the OBC. She assured me that I would see the OBC listed within 24 hours. So glad I was reading CC in prep for our sailing because that is what made me realize I couldn’t find it anywhere! So thanks CC!!

Yes I am currently in the cruise planner and don’t see where I should check. And @Funky Fusion FoodsJ, I booked thru casino royals so unfortunately I’m trying to contact them.

We sail in 17 days on Anthem. I have been reading how you can see your OBC on the app. We have $100 OBC from NextCruise. But I don’t see where I should find that. I tried the app and the actual website. I even thought to check under DH because he is the 1st one listed on the reservation. I was assured back in August that we have $100 OBC and $250 free slot play. We have never had this before on our other 3 RCL cruises so could someone please share where I would locate this? As usual, I have tried to call RCL but have spent my time on hold without ever speaking to someone and had to hang up because we all have a life and need to attend to other things. Thanks in advance for the help!

We too will be on the March 12 sailing. We also don’t sweat the small stuff! I did enjoy reading both reviews of recent Anthem sailings in prep for our sailing, so thanks to both OPs who wrote them!

Agree with Tree-skier. I called on 2/2 and explained that I don’t drink alcohol but DH does. They allowed me to buy the refreshment package and DH the deluxe beverage package. Don’t wait till you are on the ship because the price will be more then buying it before the cruise.

Please tell me where to look on AARP for RCL gift cards. Very interested. We are new to AARP and didn’t know about the benefit of discounted gift cards

We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Airport. Free airport shuttle and as others stated there is a shuttle to cruise port that you can arrange and pay $20-30 per person. Very nice hotel also.

Been on many Caribbean cruises and only found it in St Maarten.

Loved all the food we had at Jamie’s and Giovanni’s. We have Jamie’s book for our first night in Anthem in March.😋

Thanks! As of this morning it is showing on the app for me too! Don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for 3/12 to arrive because even though winter hasn’t been too bad yet in Eastern PA, I’m still over it!😂

About how far in advance did this show up on the app for your sailing? We sail 3/12 and it doesn’t show yet on the app or if I log into the RCL website. And despite others saying they didn’t like Spectra, we do want to book it and see for ourselves
