We are going on our first cruise and my 12yr old will be with us. I was leaning towards letting him do his own thing..now I'm not so sure. I think I will keep him with us at least the first day and go from there. Really hoping he meets some other kids his age..I would be totally fine with him running around with other kids.

Ooohhhh but then you skip the lobster! DH has some travel dress pants that are super lightweight, never wrinkle & look stunning with his black Magellan's travel sport (suit!) jacket! Got em at Costco - worked so well her has 4 pairs!

Which one would be better for kids? I have a 20yr old(guess he isn't a kid,,,lol) and a 12yr old. I know Mr Sanchos has the beach toys but like the idea of Nachi having less people but would my 12 yr old get bored??? Thank you

Thanks everyone. I honestly have no idea what is good or bad but sounds like we are good. I just want it to be easy for my 12yr old to get to places if he is off by himself or with friends.

The price on fareviewer is probably cheaper because it does not show your taxes and port fees...did you consider this?

 

I always do a mock booking because fareviewer does not include military rates...are you eligible for military rates?

 

I have never gotten the difference taken off of my balance...always been in form of obc or an upgrade. Maybe someone else here has and can let you know if possible.

First time cruiser. When I mock book the price is the same but when I used the fare viewer it was cheaper? Is that right? Also...if they approve a price change..do they take it off the amount you still owe? The only options I saw were on board credit or upgrade? Or should I have left that blank?

I went through a PVP...and we are in room 7389 on the empress deck. 2 things..it doesn't look midship to me..more like back. I looked on the deck plan website and there is nothing stating that this is a 3 person cabin? My PVP had a difficult time finding us a cabin because most available were only 2 person cabins. First time cruiser here so not sure if she made a mistake or it's correct?

One other question..does there have to be rooms available on the same deck to get the price reduced? Looks like our deck is sold out.

We wanted empress or lido but they didn't have any 3 person cabins. I have heard Verandah can be very loud with lido right above. Also..on the Carnival site it says this room is a 2 person room? The whole 2 or 3 person cabin confuses me. Can't they just bring a trundle bed in to any room?

There are no 3 person cabins available on lido or empress. I booked Veranda. Really hoping the noise from above won't be too bad. The PVP said if I find a room on empress call her. If it's available..she can change it.

I just booked our first cruise. Went online to make sure everything was right (booked over the phone) and there is no room number listed? Should I call back or does this take some time to show up.

Lido deck isn't an option for 3 :(. Sooo bummed. Our options are empress or panorama. Obviously main deck and others are an option but these are my picks. Sorry to keep asking..just not sure which one is located better. My 12 year old will likely be at the pools and the circle c club.

Still haven't booked yet..spending soo much makes me nervous. Still thinking lido(forward) deck but worried about motion. We could go to Verandah midship..so..better location or less movement?? LOL

We are going on a cruise in August..so all hotels have doubled or tripled their rates. Has anyone stayed at the Inn at the waterpark? I have read reviews on all trip/hotel sites and everyone says something different. Would love to hear from someone here. I know they have shuttles to the port but think we will be using the other parking closer to the port.

Hard to believe it full, could be early, keep calling to find when bookings are open. Hopefully this is case.
