You can also buy a combo ticket for all three. Takes you to the Guinness facility, a whiskey distillery, the Royal Yacht Britannia, etc. Main stop is on Waverly Bridge by the central rail station.

I think you may be mixing your cities  and countries up, I am pretty certain that the Royal Yacht, Waverly Bridge and central station are all in Edinburgh, Scotland and not Dublin, Ireland

  2. Hello

I am new to Celebrity and will be shortly sailing on the reflection, Does anyone know what type of coffee is available to order in the MDR at breakfast times, I don't like filter coffee and would like to be able to have a Cappuccino or Latte  with a pastry after my hot food. I have the the drinks package and I am assuming if these coffees are available to order the will be covered by the package

    Thanks

  3. Hello

I am just wondering if anyone can advise on what beers are covered under the bar and restaurant unlimited drink package.

From what I can find online it seems that Heineken is the only bottled beer covered, but I am interested in knowing what draught beers are included

    Thanks

  4. Just an update, I called and was told if I cancel I loose the my cruise next certificate, but I can transfer it any time before my pay in full date to a new booking provided the new booking is a couple of dollars more.

I have looked at the T&CS and can't see any mention of this rule. Has anyone experienced this.

I never asked but I was wondering if it's possible to move a cruise next cert more than once because I can't see any cruise I want to transfer it to right now

    Thanks

  5. Hello

I have a couple of cruises booked at the moment, one is in October of this year and that other is not until November 2018.

The first one is booked with a cruise next certificate and I may have to cancel this cruise due to the ill health of a close family member. Does any one know if the cruise next voucher can be moved onto the other cruise that is booked. I paid cash for the deposit on that one. I don't mind having extra money on the one cruise

    Thanks

I really hope that this is the same Fernando that used to work on the Epic back in 2015. Do you recall if he is a young Spanish guy in his mid 30's, slim build and very colorful

My family adored him, especially my children, he always had time for them and there was something really genuine and sincere about him. Such warm and welcoming person that was always happy and smiling.

We are due to sail in the Spirit in October so I am really hoping its the same guy and that he will still be on board for that cruise

  7. When did you originally book those cruises?

Both of my cruises for this year are currently about £2,000 more than I booked them for, but most of that increase happened months ago.

Mediterranean cruise for October 2017 was booked the end of December last year and I just booked the EpicTransatlantic for November 2018 about 3 weeks ago

  8. I have just done some comparisons on the Irish site for two of the cruises I have currently booked, all prices are for 2 adults and 2 children, in the same category rooms as original bookings

First cruise - 11 night med cruise on the Spirit October 2017

€4105 - Includes DSC & soda packages for the kids, UBP x 2

    €5596 - Inclusive rate

    €1491 more expensive

    Epic Transatlantic November 2018

    €4078 - Includes DSC & soda packages for the kids, UBP x 2 + 4 SDP meals x 2

€5216 - Inclusive rate - No SPD meals

    €1138 More expensive

These changes in prices are scary, There is no way that a couple of bottles of water a day and a few coffees could constitute me paying the new pricing. NCL is going to kiss a lot of families good bye

  9. I require a gf diet and have had no issues whilst sailing withNCL. Like Disney they prefer for you to order the night before for the next day.

There is one server dedicated to special meal requests and they will be responsible for taking your orders and ensuring that you are being looked after. You just tell them your room number when you are seated and everyone else is ordering and your food will be fetched from a separate kitchen area.

You can order breakfast and lunch the night before as well. But it's something I never bothered with and was always accommodated when I arrived in the MDRs

Forgot to add that I. Never had to give them a time that I wished to dine for the following day. The purpose of advanced ordering is to make the kitchen aware of what they have to prepare the next day and that they have the ingredients to hand. So it does work with freestyle dining. You can eat when you want

    Hope this helps

  10. My wife asked for it and received it several times on the Epics last transatlantic cruise. Sometimes it took a while for it to arrive so it might be an idea to ask for it when placing the order and to remind them about it when the serve your starter.

My wife reckons that it was made up freshly from mustard powder and that can sometimes pack more of a punch than the jars of Colmans

  11. Sailing on the Epic in a couple of weeks time and wondering if anyone who has sailed on her lately can confirm if they have been serving food in the Spice h20 area. During our cruise on the EPIC last November the food area in this section was never open

    Thanks

  12. Hello,

I just got off the Getaway 2 weeks ago, I asked at every bar I went to but was told they didn't have it. Finally the bartender at Mixx told me that Appleton was taken off of every ship. Appleton is my rum of choice, I was really hoping to enjoy it throughout the week.

Thank you for the reply, so it looks like my suspicions were correct. It such a shame because like you it was my rum of choice when I sailed on NCL. I am from Ireland and its a Rum that is not normally found in bars here so I enjoyed the treat of having it while cruising

  13. . Some of the items he ate were - gluten free bread, muffins, English muffins, waffles French toast, pancakes, eggs, omelets, bacon and sausages. Lunch was hamburgers with gluten free buns, gluten free pizza, French fries that were prepared in clean oil, salmon, ribs with special gluten free barbecue sauce, fried calamari which by the way was his favorite - he had it every night lol! He didn't have to order a Gluten free version of what was on the menu - he ordered whatever he wanted when he wanted - again we would sometimes have to wait 30 minutes or so extra well worth the wait. We would meet with one of the chefs at every meal. He had such a good time on vacation he cried when getting off the ship. I asked him why he was crying and he said because the food was so good and he didn't get sick! Sorry for the long winded message. A word of advice pack some gluten free snacks from home so when you get off the ship you have something safe to munch on! Also I was able to check the ingredients on the soft serve ice cream - as long as it hasn't changed it is safe.

Thank you so much, this is exactly what I was after as it allows others to see that you can ask food to be made for you and not just adapted, it also shows that they carry a good range of Gluten free products such as pizza and burger buns, Muffins and breads

I think the more that we see others being successful in getting these items the easier it gets in asking for them as we are not asking the staff to chase down something for us that is not on board
