  1. Hello

I managed to successfully get a status match for a Black card and have gone ahead and made my booking, but when go to the voyagers club website and try to access the booking it tells me that the selected booking can not be found. I know that my agent has put the booking through and that the booking number is valid as I have taken in from my booking confirmation

Is any one else having issues and has anyone managed to log into the Voyagers club successfully? if so would you mind sharing with me how you managed this

    Thanks

  2. She is in drydock now in Palermo for another week and a half. I disembarked immediately prior to drydock and, cosmetically, there was absolutely no need for one, it may be for mechanical/technical purposes

Thank you for your reply, was there any talk of refurbishment whilst on board, she is still a young ship but some many of the cruise lines have lately being refurbishing at similar age dry docks

  3. I would imagine that the burger on the always-available menu was just the Sky. I just looked at the Escape menus again, which are the ones rolling out to the rest of the fleet. There's a steak frites always available, and the featured special seems to be another form of steak every night. That is what I personally find disappointing. While I am certainly no vegetarian, it would have been nice for them to attempt to be slightly more diverse with the nightly special than beef beef beef beef beef beef beef. [emoji13]

Yes but the steak frites is a far cheaper cut of beef than the Strip loins or New York Strip as they are called in the USA that were available every night in the MDRs without any additional charge

  4. There is an every day steak available on the menu

I have just noticed that on a menu from the Breakaway, but it looks like they have changed it to a cheaper cut of beef, On the Epic last November you could order a 12 oz New York strip if you wanted every night, that was of good quality and well cooked and I doubt that anyone would pay for a a steak in the MDr if that was still being offered for free

  5. Does anyone know of the Strip-loin steaks that used to be on the part of the menu that didn't change each night are still there and free of charge. They where always listed in a section under the appetizers on the left hand side of the menus - NCL favorites of something like that

  6. Hi All

I am just wondering if anyone knows if some of the same category rooms on the Epic are bigger than others, looking and the decks plans and the way curves out at certain points makes it look like some of the balconies could possibly be bigger for example I am looking at a B5 Balcony room and considering room 12068, this looks to be on a point where the wall of the ship curves outwards.

Hope someone could shed some light

    Thanks

  7. Season greetings fellow cruisers

I have been looking at the new pick 2 freestyle option promo on the UK / EU website and when I go right through the booking process to get pricing I can't find anywhere To Pick which of the freestyle options I want. Even after going right through the booking and putting a cruise on hold, I still can't see where I select them. I got a confirmation email and it says it includes UBP and Internet pack, but I want UBP and UDP

Am I missing something obvious, can't anyone advise on were I can select what I want

    Thanks Lachelli

  8. prices have increased by the same amount as if you where to add all of the extras into your booking, so no real saving here

I did notice that they have locked it down to only German, Austrian and Swiss residents as you can no longer select any other countries on the drop down menu that you need to select a country from before proceeding with the booking

  9. Hello and thanks for posting your review, we set sail this coming Sunday aboard the Epic and it will be our first cruise with NCL

May I ask if you noticed whilst docked in Livorno - Florence / Pisa if they where running the bus from the Port to Livorno centrally station, I have heard mixed reports of this and someone recently said that it was there but NCL did not advertise the fact even though it's organised through them and payable as a room charge

I am planning on just walking around in Cannes, does the tenders dock in a central and convenient location

    Thanks

  10. Only suites have the cordless phones that you can carry around the ship. If you have the iConcierge app with messaging enabled, they will take your iconcierge number down to be able to reach you. Otherwise, they will simply ask you to tell them where you will be in case they need to locate you.

Thank you, I will be sure to download the app before I travel as it will make life easier and not having to stress about moving about the ship.

I take it there is a cost for activating the messaging service

  11. Aside from a very small number of people who walked out, the show was very well received. It's a huge, well done production. Burn the floor is excellent, too. You won't see anything like either on another cruise line. I'm eager to see both again someday. I only worry that they won't be well received in Orlando.

    Hello

Can I ask what makes you say that about the show, I have seen the movie and I know fully what it is about and that the content may not be to every ones taste or liking, But is the stage production not somewhat different and more about the music, the reason that I ask is that NCL must considering it a family show as I am able to reserve tickets for my children when I log into my reservation.

    Thanks

  12. The details are in the freestyle daily. I've never bothered (bookings are only required for the first couple of hours and we haven't been in any rush).

From memory, they start the booking them a couple of days before (Rome day I think).

You just turn up for the return. No bookings.

    Thank you

  13. Cannes is a tender port and they allocate spaces a few days before, so this is a little harder to predict. Just make sure you reserve your space early.

Hello, do they publicly announce this on the run up to Cannes, and where about a do you book your slot, are return times open or do you also need to book a slot

    Thanks

  14. Thanks everyone

I am more than happy with the room that I have been assigned, I was just supprised that it was assigned before I had even gone through the checkout and this is what made me question if it was normal procedure with NCL and if It meant that I was now out of the running for any chance of an upgrade - not that I banked on one, but I am pretty sure that everyone who books a GTY lives in hope that some day they will snag an upgrade

  15. Hello

When I booked my up and coming cruise on the Epic, I selected a GTY inside family room, however when I was completing the booking I noticed at the checkout that I was already assigned a room. I thought this was strange as I was always under the impression that rooms where assigned closer to the sail date ( booked mid Sept for mid November).

There is no mention of a GTY on the booking confirmation, is this normal and now that I have a room number for the same category room does it mean that I have not been assigned a higher category and don't stand a chance of it happening closer to the sail date

    Thanks in advance
