Where is this cafe on Azamara?

After many Azamara cruises, we tried Celebrity Silhouette. .....erm NO ....Not for us Very subjective, I know, no thank you.

That's what I was meaning, Denise.the last times we cruised this route were very different from most recently. It wasn't a problem for us, except that morning at 08.00, when Ryszard and the Captain helped us out. My husband was very poorly and in the medical facility, so a passport official had to be cleared to board the ship to go to the medical facility for that particular face to face. They insisted that it had to happen at 08.00 (having told the Senior Staff something different the previous evening. Apparently this had been the pattern for a few of the passport checks....the authorities kept changing their instructions to the ship.) It was a very different passage this time but still one if our favourites. 😁

I feel it only fair to comment on Quest's recent transit of the Suez CanaI. Both the Israeli and Egyptian passport authorities made our transit 'less than easy', and changed the rules overnight a couple of times. On one occasion, all passengers and crew had to have a face to face at 8.00am.....a decision shared with the ship only the night before. Announcements in staterooms were, unfortunately, as a result..... crucial.

Not in our case alas.

She was an absolute STAR in the Den and on White Night on Onward's inaugural voyage.

All our meet and mingles have been on the sail away evening so far.... before covid. Didn't have one on our last Azamara in May, but maybe we missed it without the usual invitation in our stateroom.

We have registered for our next 3 cruises.

Elemis was fantastic back in those days. Such a shame it was discontinued.

Have had a bit of a nightmare with this very thing over recent weeks. Whole package paid in full at end of July and still no flights arranged until we made an absolute nuisance of ourselves with a well-known travel agent. Eventually, travel agent was forced to tell us that they were (new policy) unwilling to book flights until a couple of weeks before departure as they would have to pay for them, and if cancelled, they would be out of pocket.... Had to point out that WE HAD paid for them at the end of July!! Never again will be buy a 'package' as this one was sold.

No problem - at least it is a cheery message. 🙂

On Onward's inaugural voyage, I came across the breakfast by chance whilst out running on the deck one morning.....spotting a sign outside Aqualina. At first I thought it was 'by invitation' or by loyalty level as there had been no mention of this anywhere.

I am swithering too, as I found the wines on Onward's inaugural voyage to be quite poor - I know...subjective. But - after so many Azamara voyages across all the vessels, we were disappointed.

I am reading that the port of Athens has dropped this test as of last night (Friday 23rd September). This could be a great relief to those of us who want to simply test before we leave home.

Thank you. It was served on Onward, but we weren't sure if that was due to covid and spreading out the breakfasts, or just one of Onward's inaugural special touches. Thank you, this is great as it is such a lovely start to the day. x

Can anyone currently on board, confirm whether breakfast is still being served in Aqualina for suite guests, across all four vessels or only Onward? Thanks.

Over the years, we have done a couple on Quest which have both been fabulous. Both captains told us that UK port charges are (were at that time) amongst the highest in the world. Do not let that put you off.....two of our best cruises with Azamara ever.

That is the very info we don't understand, so I asked the question for someone to kindly explain what it meant. Are the YES and NO in relation to vaccines and testing. What is FDA? Sorry to be asking again.
