thanks to all who posted can I now have info on dress code for night time we are just back off Queen Victoria and it was the dressiest cruise I have ever been on (even for Cunard which I loved) people always post how casual you can go but I was wondering how dressy the norm would be I know people will say go as dressy as you want my question is what to wear so I do not look out of place

It sounds amazing thanks for all the positive reviews think we are sold on it Flights are very expensive from Scotland so we cannot even consider balcony but not a problem as my Husband will be bouncing from one side of ship to the other binoculars and camera round his neck and telescope beside him as he was our Alaska cruise and our Greenland cruise

That is my understanding also and we were wondering how scenic it would be if weather was bad or misty

Having been onboard same cruise as you it was a wonderful cruise with amazing weather except Lisbon I have to say I did think the standard of dress was very good seeing long dresses and full sequin dresses on all evenings !!! it was wonderful to see especially on 20s night the captain really was delight keep up the traditions on Cunard

Mum booked yesterday to go on Queen Victoria in October I was pleased to tell her that there would be dance hosts onboard as there was none last onboard last year when she also had a broken toe So when I started reading this post I thought oh no what a shame that there would be no dance hosts for her to have a dance with Does anyone no the verdict will there be hosts in October ? thanks

Hi I have read our luggage allowance for the Alaska land tour is small back pack and one bag we are taking a suitcase and a cabin bag on the cruise will the suitcase be too big to take on the land tour many thanks for your replies
