One year we were in port in Skagway and there were huge mosquitos around us when we were on the pool deck . Also earlier when we went on the Suspension Bridge tour. I always pack travel size mosquito repellent . Also packing Benedryl Cream , Anti Itch Cream

I have cruised on the Crown three times before. Always had an indoor pool. Someone said in a recent review on the Crown, it had no indoor pools and the pools are not heated. Any recent cruisers tell me if this is true I booked this instead of the Discovery Princess because of the indoor pool on the Crown Princess. I like to swim to work off all the good food

I tried to upgrade our cruise in August, I thought I could go with the fare they are advertising right now, today, and pay the difference , But when I tried the gal at Princess said I could not get that price because it was for new bookings only. When I read the fine print it said it was a Launch Fare. Which instead of $300 extra They wanted over $900.00

This may be a stupid question. But does "Launch Fares" mean NEW bookings only?

I have home tests. But how can you prove what date you took it?

Obviously the Crown Princess. I had heard from videos and posts on CC all about the bathroom issues and engine issues. Since we will be on the Aug 13 sailing I have been paying close attention. The itinerary for Aug is showing they will not be the usual time in these ports. So I am assuming from this ,they have NO intention of solving this issue with the mechanical problems until it goes into Dry Dock in Oct. If I had known this before I booked , I would not have chosen this ship. But I will make the best of it. As long as it doesn't get worse and change our itinerary by dropping some ports altogether

We just did this a couple of days ago. I put in all our info, proof of vaccinations etc. Passport. I created a login etc. But they would not let us add a date as far out as Aug. But definitely do it before the cruise.

I don't mean to sound negative. But I have been having nothing but trouble with this App. Going from green to blue. Showing I haven't filled something in , like emergency contact which I have done over and over .Clicked on the read cruise contract box , save and now it says it wasn't done Even my birthdate goes from filled out to not filled out and I can look at it an it shows it correctly. GURR! It used to be so much easier. This would be great technology, if it works properly. I am an Elite member . Not a stranger to filling out pre cruise forms
