I would imagine you'd have to start shoreside first in Miami.

I've seen the hypnotist on other cruises, and I quite agree with you, it's not my favorite. I know other guests enjoy it though.

Just talked to a CAS agent; it was the Oregon office's holiday party.

Does anyone know if they carry caviar and if so what kind, or if they use a substitute roe? Is it available in CK?

Sounds like those prices are clotheslining you.

Holy shiitake mushrooms, that's expensive. Can't you get a refund?

Being in a suite will definitely take precedence over being Platinum. Also, you'll have access to the concierge lounge. And yes, you will get priority disembarkation both off the ship and for any tenders. The concierge arranges that for you.

We've missed Cococay once, and we've been ten times.

In Grandeur on a suite now. Paid a lot. No perks to speak of. Very sub par experience. Shame on Royal. You could do so much more for suite guests. You want my money. But do little to earn it.

He's just mad because he had to tender with the peasant folk. There's two complaint threads running already. Happy Thanksgiving!

I've never had a bad experience. I always call the Crown & Anchor group in Eugene, Oregon. They are always helpful and great to deal with.

They really are the best.

I'm a millennial, and I don't act that way. I work very hard for what I have.

I can guarantee most teenagers have been exposed to WAY worse crap than Teen Mom. Teen Mom should be a form of birth control, if anything.

I would seriously go with the 2 bedroom aqua theater suite and get the genie and star class perks.

We don't make up careers, but we aren't completely honest, either. DH is a pharmacist; I'm an RN. We learned very quickly during an agonizing open seating breakfast on our first cruise to never disclose our vocations again. When strangers learn of our professions we almost always get one of two responses: 1) solicitation of medical advice, even though we have no idea about their medical history, current medications, etc. or 2) an excruciatingly detailed account of every single bad experience they've ever had with the medical system.
Since that first cruise, when asked, DH responds that he works in retail (technically true since he works in the pharmacy of a major retail company). No one pries further into that job. I tell them I'm a mom - also true. People change the subject very quickly after my response. I think they're afraid I'm going to start pulling out pictures of our children or telling potty training stories or something. :)
I'm an RN too and I NEVER say that on a cruise (or really anywhere unless my skills are being called for appropriately) because people just love to discuss their most intimate medical problems with me and ask for medical diagnoses. Ugh.

One time we were sat with a pair of VERY obnoxious diamond members. They treated the waiter like crap, like snapping their fingers/whistling to get their attention, and kept prefacing/ending each sentence with "I'm a DIAMOND member." They were super fussy, sent their steaks back 3-4 times (ours were great) and complained that they had to share their bus to their excursion with non C&A members. It was embarrassing.

Do you like RC better than Carnival, roughly the same? Would you want to cruise Royal again? What other kind of activities did you do, what did you think of the service, etc?

I am immunocompromised as well, and I've never gotten sick on any of my cruises. I wash my hands frequently and use the hand sanitizer, as well as carry my own. Plus I bring Lysol wipes and sanitize the cabin with them.

Some people still feel shortchanged when offered a good deal just because it isn't free. I'm glad you got such an awesome room, and enjoy your cruise!

You should've asked which one "Trumps" the other. Hurr hurr.

On our cruise in August we went to a restaurant that had a Pokestop next to it so I stuck a lure and some incense there and caught a ton of water type Pokemon, like a ton of Magikarp. Our son was loving it. I managed to evolve one into a gyarados. I've also heard there's quite a few gyms in Old San Juan. Have fun!

I use two tin cans and a wire.

This is great news.
I'm excited... of course, I'm mostly excited to see the throngs of CC posters who will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER sail on this new class because __________.
(Insert any hot button topic of choice... dining plan changes, smoking changes, hairstyle changes, uniform changes, lack of something, adding something, the size being too large, the size not being bigger than Oasis-class ships, the color of the flooring, the food they haven't eaten yet, the pool they haven't swam in yet, the chairs someone hasn't hogged yet, the changieness of the changes, the unchangieness of the changes, the WJ, the whatever.)
The diamond lounge not being made of real actual diamonds, no gluten free towel animals, the fact that the sand doesn't look like the picture in the brochure...yeah, I just better talk to your manager right now.

That's exactly why I go thru a TA online...to get the perks. How do you transfer a booking from RCI to an online agent? I didn't realize you could do that.
Thank you!!
You just need to fill out the agency transfer form. Here's the link:

And yet people still buy cruises with them. Huh.
