For example to get special sign for parking in our state you need to proof for your disability.
But CC isn’t US, although they try to accommodate people.
You're right. It's called a note from your doctor. My wife is disabled. She carries NO documentation for that not is she required to do so.

But is there bar service? that's the big question. We want to lay in our daybed, and be able to enjoy drinks without getting up to go get them.
Having to walk to the bar to get a drink. How cruel is Royal?

Sorry, I don't remember the cost as it has been a few years but I will tell you the walk to the distillery was nice and easy. The free tour was good and you get to sample many items.
And we always buy a bottle of local rum from an Island we are visiting or staying at as it is much cheaper so bring those bags!
Enjoy
I was there a few months ago. The only sample we got was a three ounce pina colada. Anything else you need to purchase.

I sailed Liberty last October. Nothing special was done in terms of fall decorations.

Please supply some details of what you are looking for.

I wouldn't advise it. The beach is at least 3/4 of a mile away when you add in the distance from your ship to the end of the pier. There would be some places where there is no sidewalks as well. The beach is pretty much all sand. It won't be worth the effort and and would be very frustrating.

(Week 2)
Today is the first of 2 days at sea before we get to the Dominican Republic. Again, the days at Sea will be filled with activities for all age groups. Seminars, trainings, pool games, dance classes and trivia. Let's not forget about shopping. A lot of merchandise will be brought out into the Royal Promenade for purchase.
We had a brief rain this morning with heavy clouds but the forecast for today is mostly sunny and 82F. It should be a nice day at sea, however, the wave heights and motion are more than I've seen at all during my eight nights on board so far. There has been a bit of pitching and rolling for the last few hours.
I will try to make it to the port and shopping talk in the Royal Theater at 11am. There should be a discussion about the options for passengers in the next 2 ports of call. Here are a few pics from this morning.
Thanks for tuning in

I was on onboard this past May and don't remember the divers. I'll have to look for them next May when I return. I have to remind you that most port shopping talks I've attended to lately talk about Effy for 75 percent of the time. Maybe you ll get lucky.

Is it true that the ship pulled away around eleven or so another ship could get into her dock?

Thanks for that explanation. That clears that up, but doesn't remove my anger about this cruise!
Royal has to look at the broad picture, not just your cruise.

Resorts World Bimini is cashless, has anyone tried using a Visa prepaid card? I prefer not to use my credit card.
If you mean a pre loaded debit card, I was NOT able to use them is Nassau and would expect Bimini to be the same. I believe they are only good for the US.

Itinerary aside, of those 3 ships, which would you recommend for a 50-something couple and their 22 year old daughter celebrating a college graduation? Seems like Odyssey is much newer than the other two - do Brilliance or Explorer show their age too much?
The bigger/ newer the ship is , the more venues bars and restaurants there are.

Any idea what which ship will be in Bayonne from March 26 onwards when Odyssey goes for her tuneup?

Served cold? Ugh. Are they kept cold to keep them fresher longer?
I guess some hot butter will resolve that.
Haven't you heard of chilled lobster before
I've had it and it's not bad.

I agree completely with your assessment. But if you talk with him one on one he's a different person.

That's sad, borderline pathetic. Never saw anything like that when she sailed from Cape Liberty, and we've done that at least 15 sailings.

This area is not only far away from places in turmoil, but also is fenced (protected).
I think Royal would not risk deciding to restart sailings to Labadee otherwise.
Good wire cutters will get you thru with no problem
I'm just saying.

Suggestions for Portland. Becky's for lunch and then a beer sampler at Shipyard Brewery. Becky's is just an old fashioned diner with a great seafood chowder and lobster rolls. Once you get to the street, it's about a half mile walk to your left along the waterfront.

Don't know what port you are sailing the Symphony from. If it's from Cape Liberty, the scooter will be in your room when you arrive. On the last day, just leave it in your room. You don't have any other options.
