We actually had quite a few “Heroes” I listed in my survey. In and out of the Haven. I took a cc’ers advice and took pics of our heroes with name tags when we could so I could have their full name and position. I think I’m having Haven withdrawals tho. lol

Almond Croissants! @Sthrngary Just got off the Breakaway. I was looking forward to the almond croissants I’ve read so much about here. So at my first Haven breakfast last week, as I had just grasped an almond croissant in the tongs, Wayan the Assistant Maitre’d stopped me and told me the croissants contained eggs. They were already aware of my egg allergy from embarkation lunch the day before. As I set the croissant down I thanked him and told him I’d heard so much about them. Lo and behold the next breakfast and every breakfast to the last day, I was served FIVE delicious eggless croissants at breakfast and whatever we didn’t eat was brought to our room by our butler. It’s the little things that make the big things. We were blessed to have quite a few “Heroes” that really help make our cruise special. Also the information here help elevate our expectations and make the most of our vacation that went way too fast.

Really appreciate you sharing your cruise! We’re in countdown mode ourselves. If you happen to breeze thru the casino could you let me know what the minimums are at some of the table games? Especially 3 card poker.

I’d like to know also on the Breakaway. And does it get very crowded? We’re looking for very relaxing down time.

I would really like to thank the Haven experts for all the tips and tricks. My husband and I “splurge” on the Haven for a few reasons, just as others splurge on their different type happies that we might not understand. For us as two small business owners it’s hard getting away for vacays due to hectic schedules so we need/want downtime, excellent service, and quiet while traveling to multiple ports. We have had one Haven cruise back in 2019. That was all it took for “Us” to book another Haven cruise coming up in early 2024. I only search for Haven ships now. We still laugh about every time we would walk thru the Haven door, we would hear angels quietly singing. We love the Haven priority em/debarkation, Haven courtyard, Haven restaurant, Haven lounge, and Haven sun deck. We do venture to different decks for casino, shows and specialty restaurants so we almost have 2 type vacays rolled into one – party/play vs. relaxing indulgent time. We had very few requests and were pampered royally. With that said I hope to one day be a regular on here answering questions and sharing tips/tricks. Thank ya’ll for making our cruises a lot smoother on what and how to expect. Hats off to ya’ll!
