One other thing you might look at. Unless my eyes are playing tricks it will cost you 1200 point for $100 OBC, but you can get a $100 carnival gift card for 1000 points, which can be used as a partial payment for your cruise.

In the past showed up on my cruise account. Took about two weeks. Try to save a screen shot or copy just in case and customer service can help you once your on board.

Anyone hear when Port of Baltimore will open up for cruising?? And how about New Jersey?

I live in NC and took them up on it. Single rate w/$100 OBC was $80 (Balcony) . Curious how many people will be on the ship.
Please keep updated

As it happens, I am in the Ocean View on the Reflection right now. Tonight seems to be some kind of German theme. We have spaetzel, chicken schnitzel and pork schnitzel on the buffet.
Last night it was a large number of Indian entrees.
I'am from Allentown PA, schnitzel right up my alley, good old PA dutch eats

Do they have a nightly theme dinner?

One day pass $19 vs $10 for two may ferry ride, token to Caves $3.5, token to Aquarium from Caves $3.5, Token back to catch Ferry $3.50 (total $20.50) but all day pass gives me other options if I change plans. Thanks in advance

Its all up to the individuals bankroll and taste. We use our cabin for the 4 S"s. Sleep, Shower, Shave & you know. To many things to do on and off board to spend a lot for a cabin. We are more then happy with an OV, of course we are just "common people".

FYI just watched a video on horseshoe bay. Public Trans drops you off at top of hill, appears to be a pretty long walk to beach, especially coming back all up hill.

Yes, but I'm on vacation. I wear dockers and a collared shirt. Wife just wears dressy top, slacks, capris.

Sorry they refer to Miami as the Magic City, the mall name is Dolphin Mall.
-
RC setting up free shuttle service for Bayside Market Place & South Beach. Will either of these get my wife to Magic City (Outlet Mall) Also is this like the Hop On Hop Off they sell on the ship? Thanks

Can hardly wait to see how long the shuttle lines will be.🚎

We feel your pain. We’ve been on a cruise or 2 when because of the weather entire itineraries were changed. Just before the cruise. This left little time for research of new ports. TripAdvisor helps.
However we have enjoyed the hop on hop off bus in Miami on 3 different occasions. It’s a great way to visit south beach and little Havana. The bus does a separate loop to both areas. We usually eat at the News cafe south beach where the designer Versace was killed. Clevelander is nice for drinks. The shopping center where you get the bus has a little Cuban cafe with real Cuban coffee and sandwich excellent next to the Polo shop. Miami can be fun! Coco Cay was a port we missed also a few years ago.
Wife just read your reply, made her feel better, THANK YOU

Just received my email for the 3/15 sailing. Miami instead of CocoCay. What a bunch of crap. Just what I want to do, if I wanted to see Miami I would have flown and gotten a cruise from there. To compensate they have arranged some free shuttles to SouthBeach etc WOW. Nice to know one week prior to sailing..They have my money I have no choice.

Appears on line bookings are closed, can I assume they hold seats open for walkins on a first come first sit basis?
Cruise insurance yay or nay

Bought it, Used it after wife was in intensive care 3 days before sailing. Your probably going to lose that much in the casino so why no gamble that Something Just Might Happen.
