Last month I did a 14-days cruise in the Mediterranean on the Celebrity Equinox. I hit 9 countries :
Turkey
Greece
Montenegro
Croatia
Italy
Vatican
France
Monaco
Spain.
Not shabby at all. Some are real big countries. A 10th country San Marino was possible but then we will miss Fiorenze. :)

Personally I think the lawn area is a waste of space. During our 14 Equinox cruise we never touch the grass. We have at our home a lawn in the garden so it wasn't so special for us.

We came back last week from the Mediterranean cruise on the Celebrity Equinox and the weather was very hot between August 24th and September 7th. The temperature was between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius and no shower.
Kotor was the hottest with 43 degrees.
The disembarking day in Barcelona was the coolest with 25 degrees.

We just came from the Equinox cruise and we have dined at the Murano.
The food, service and the ambiance are definitely a step up from the MDR. We have celebrated a birthday and all agreed that was a great experience.
The lobster entree was superb.
A tip: negotiate about the price before the reservation. We did got a substantial discount.

Can you put here the actual link of the booking site ?
I am back form a 14 days trip on the Equinox and I still got the cruise virus. :)

There is a 2-story library on deck 10/11 on the Equinox but I haven't seen a coffee table in this room.

What is the Hideaway ? Do you mean the Card Room on deck 9 ?
It was a great room to play card. Alot of space and enough tables to sit.
We took the coffee from Al Bacio on deck 5 and sit on deck 9 for some game.

We just came from the August 24th cruise. We are a group of 5 people sharing two cabins and we didn't caught anything at all.
All of us have go to the theatre, swimming pool, jacuzzi, bars etc.
Maybe me were lucky and stay healthy during the whole cruise.

I want to make at least one reservation in the Murano. One member of our group has her birthday during the cruise and we want to make a special diner evening.
It is no different than booking a reservation at a restaurant on land.
The money is no issue. We are spending on the celebration anyway.

I want to know if the arrival time in EPHESUS (KUSADASI) has changed ?
The iternary of the Celebrity Equinox on August 26th states arrival time is 10.00am. Celebrity has changed the overnight stay in Istanbul and I read somewhere the time of arrival has been changed to 8.00am.
I have booked a private tour in KUSADASI and if we can go earlier then that is better because of the hot weather in Turkey.
***EDIT** Never mind, I have found a revise time table of our iternary,

I don't mind sitting the life boat if I get faster off board.
When tendering, those on Celebrity tours, those in suites, and those with high status in the loyalty program do get priority.I am neither of the three category and I have booked a private tour in Kotor which is according to Celebrity a tender port. We have to get early in line if we want to meet our guide in time.

We have the Classic Beverage Package included. That was one of the 123GO perks. I am sure I am going to use it fully. Daily 2-3 cocktails, couple of specialty coffees, couple of glasses of wine at the dinner, bottled waters during the day. We see no problem using it. :)
-
Sorry for hacking in but how many life boats are they using for tendering ?
If they deploy all the life boats then the tendering process should be minimal.
-
You must be missing the Beverage Package FAQ. Don't worry, here it is: http://cruiseforums.cruisecritic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2167294

No overhauling/refurbishment of ship, it's a charter sailing from 14th to 24th August ;). Only the bar is being changed over. Come on over to the roll call for your sailing: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2059250
Who is chartering the whole ship ? That must have been expensive !
Any more information about the charter sailing ?

On my cruise on 8/24 there will be no more Molecular bar. We will be visiting the brand new World Class bar. The prices are kinda steep.
Och well I may try some drinks. It is still holidays. :p
-
We will be on Equinox on 8/24. I always wonder why there is a 10days gap between the iternaries. It turns out that the ship is overhauling. That means no Molecular bar for us. Well World Class bar sounds good.
-
I am on Celebrity Equinox in a week. What are the current prices in the Molecular Bar ? I have seen prices of $12 and $15.
That is a 25% difference !

Thank you for the fast answer. :)
When I did online-checking they asked me to fill in the Captain Club account number. I fill in the same account number for each guest and the site accept that without question.
I did that because the other guests are very occasional cruisers and I and my wife are more vivid cruisers but Celebrity is my first cruise with this company.
So I only know the points after the cruise.

Hi all
We are cruising with Celebrity Equinox with five persons in two Concierge cabins. I have a question about the club points.
Does each person get 5 points per night or only 5 points are given for the cabin for the "main" person ?
Is it possible to collect the points from all the persons and put it on one Captian Club account ?
Thanks

I like big ships. I have never on a cruiseship that is smaller than 3000 pax. The larger the better. :)
There are more activities to do on a large ship, more bars, more restaurants. etc. Never feel crowded except on a seaday.
