You need to add her booking number as well. If you’ve already done that, then I don’t know.

Regent also uses the Intercontinental in Miami.

We did need to get tested on board Splendor on a B2B from Miami-Barcelona-Trieste in April, so I’m not sure your info about that not being required in April is correct.

Yes, you can get distilled water for your CPAP, but definitely ask for it in advance by contacting specialrequests@rssc.com. Include your booking number.

When you deviate, your travel can begin up to 30 days before your cruise begins, AND can extend up to 30 days after you disembark, or at least that is what we’ve been told.
We were on the Splendor TA this spring and disembarked in Trieste, traveled in Italy for 12 days, and flew home on Regent Air from Milan to London to Baltimore, all in Business class on British Airways. Yes, we love that British Airways flight from Heathrow to BWI!- 2

I agree with Go Army.
If you arrange your own air, Regent is not responsible for your transportation from the airport to the hotel.- 1

Back to post 2951, we were just in NYC last week, and there were plenty of restaurants open.
You specifically mentioned hotel restaurants, and I can’t speak to that, but we had many options.

Probably August, according to what we heard on Splendor during our April cruise.

My husband and I are frequent Regent travelers, and we are booked on our first Silversea cruise, on the Cloud, from 1/15/2024 to 1/30/2024. We will be sailing to and from Puerto Williams. We have booked Business Air to/from our home airport of BWI (Baltimore).
Is the air piece here similar to Regent where we can “deviate” for a fee and offer suggestions of what airline, day, and routing we want?
If so, when would we make the suggestion?
I know there will be a charter flight to and from Santiago to Puerto Williams. In pre-Covid times we might have gone to Santiago a few days early, but now we are undecided as to when to go.Any help you can offer would be most appreciated!

Regent did require recent testing on B to B segments. We just sailed on Splendor from Miami to Barcelona to Trieste. We were required to test 2 days before Barcelona. Testing took place in the Observation Lounge. Passengers continuing on from Trieste to Monaco also had to test 2 days before Trieste.

We were just on the Splendor TA to Barcelona and the following segment to Trieste. We know of some fellow travelers, starting in Miami, but continuing on to Monte Carlo. They tested positive 2 days before Trieste, and were allowed to quarantine in their cabin for 5 days. They subsequently tested negative, and have been allowed to continue their trip.

I also agree with the comments about Steve Dasseos and AIG/ TravelGuard.
We needed to file 2 claims related to the 2017 WC and we were very pleased with TravelGuard’s response and the amount we received.

Tonight in Passages:
“As a courtesy to your fellow guests, we kindly request that you refrain from the practice of reserving chaise lounges and day beds with personal items. Sun loungers cannot be reserved for longer than 30 minutes. If you are not present on the Pool Deck, Wait Staff and Deck Stewards will clear chaises and day beds of any personal items to make them available for use by your fellow guests.”

I second the info about brunch above!
It was fantastic! Raw bar, carving (ham and roast beef, salmon in puff pastry), omelette and crepe stations. Caviar and champagne, plentiful and delicious desserts!

I believe I heard some laundry rooms were converted to crew quarters, but I believe they are open on all ships.

Both our April 5 and 19 sailings on Splendor are listed on that site with the current rules/regulations, but we are hoping that April 1 some of them might be relaxed.

16+ nights have a Formal Optional night, so it looks like you might have 3 on your South America cruise.

It will show up when you get your final documents. I think it’s designated by an “F”.

Yes, $1000 to move up the list. If you clear the waitlist, it will be applied to your bill.

Can someone please clarify if jackets are required on the Cloud on an expedition voyage in Antarctica?
