I tried to reserve a spot @ 80 Francisco in Sept. '22 and was told that they do not take reservations anymore. It is now first come, first served. It will probably be full from the cruise that is disembarking.
Timing can be "iffy".
Casino booked cruises need ALL changes run through the casino dept. or run the very real risk of losing your casino paid cruise and/or all of your promos. It happened to me after adding transfers and insurance. I lost $400 in "refundable deposits" and $300 in casino free-play. I got the cabin but lost the $$.
Lesson learned.
To perhaps be a little more specific, a fully complimentary cruise will require a refundable $200pp deposit while a cruise with a casino discount and/or casino credit may be booked using a FCD.
I did it for a cruise in Sept '22.
Never say never...
On my Sept 24th 3 night cruise, we had both a formal night that was only listed in the Patter, AND there was a first night specialty dinner for suites.
Anything is possible.
Not true.
You can bring your own cans of pop on board, carry on yourself or slap a luggage tag on your package of soda. Bottled water on the other hand may be pre-ordered and will be waiting for you in your cabin.
Any competent TA can get you any casino discount that you have earned.
The TA will need your CC# (Captains Circle). They may need to call the casino dept. for you.
I got off the Royal after a 3 nt cruise 2 weeks ago and we not only had the complimentary suite dinner on the first night, we had a formal night as well.
Green lane means that you have all of your "paper work" completed for now. This is where you want to be. Blue is a color that means you have not completed your pre-cruise information.
Club Class dining will catch any sneaker that tries to get in. The hostess is on the ball, checking names and catching sneakers.
I personally have sneaked 2 sneakers into the MDR, no one questioned me.
We had some big red King legs. I'd just walk over on my own. There are 2 locations, the big store near the tram and a second, smaller crab stand near the bridge to Douglas Island and the breaching whale statue.
Nah- a little "hair of the dog" first thing in the morning followed up by an
"eye-opener" with a nip or two of whisky in your coffee.
You should be sharp by noon.
