Yah wonder whats up with that, obviuosly i booked a Lagoon as its a bigger villa. Just wondering is it was prices as a mistake which i would not be surprised at.

Hi All, Im booking excursions for our upcoming cruise with a stop at GSC. NCL is showing the same price for Lagoon and Ocean villas at SIlver Cove. Priced at $899. Has anyone else experieicned this? Last time i booked a Ocean villa it was a few hunderd cheaper. Now showing same price? Mistake?

In My opinion NCL is lacking as a whole. We have taken many cruises on NCL, our most recent on the Escape in January. To many issues to list, but allot of your comments match what we been seeing. We where very loyal to NCL over the years but the simple fac tis i'm not married to them and the last cruise where i had first timers come along was an embarressement. NCL has allot of work to do. I have one more crusie with them in July, and if they dont cleanup there act. It will be time for a divorce!.

Well its not like you lost the deposite though, if i read properly if you cancel before VV final payment, than the deposite becomes a credit towards another cruise. Perhaps a VV sailer here can confirm this.

Hello all, I have had my last bad cruise with NCL, cannot take there nickle and diming and lack of customer service. Its time to make a change. Im seriuosly looking at this cruise line, the ships look great, adults only a huge plus. So my question is, are there any former or current cruisers (Sailers Virgin) that have sailed NCL, can you tell me the differances between the two lines? Looking for personal experiences and comments. Thank you all!

We were on Escape for the Jan 7 sailing. DR Cancelled with no advanced notice and weather was not an issue. The intinerary was sold as is going to DR but NCL had not intention on stopping there. No one noticed until such time that you installed the NCL app and people noticed the port change. Cust service lines were always long for wht whole sevon days, even on the last day at 11PM the lines were so long they reached the forward elevators. Shame on NCL for mis-leading people! We also missed GSC for weather but that was an obviuos problem and the chances you take when cruise so that one to me was understanble.

Just wondering if anyone had sucess in changing there dining plans to accomadate more people. I have all the reservations for 4 but looking to extend that to 6-7 total. Has any one been sucessful in changing this? Who did you speak to on board? Many thanks!

I beleive just over a year ago on Breakaway, cruise reposition from NYC to NOLA.

As mentioned earlier my daughter is on Epic now and hasd to wait as well. She went to customer service to complain (received NO OBC) but the excuse given to her from NCL, was they were collecting all the complaints and decidiing what to do if any compansation. I told her dont hold your breath. Now the problem as NCL claims to her, was that a Haven couple wanted to extend there vacation and the NCL had no available cabins adn they took there time to pack up and get off the ship. This makes a a bit of sense as i know for a foact they will not begin to board the ship until all previous passangers debarked.

OK so i think we have the answer to the question of TA, they must have just completed a carib run but wonder whats going on.

Marine Traffic says its last stop was St Thomas, so unless they stopped ther first i dont think it was on a TA.

We just bought a Ninja coffee bar that does the K cups. Let me tell you they have this figured out, the coffee is so much stronger than a Keurig. Instead of poking 1 hole through top of cup they have 3 holes they poke and the hot water is spread evenly through the cup getting the most out of the coffee. BIG difference. Highly recommeded. Sorry i know its off topic.

Tipping is a personal choice, while they will auto chard $20/p/d if you feel the $15.50 or any other amount is the correct tip you can adjust it at Customer Service. Dont flame me, just laying out the options for people.

I usually pack it in my big luggage but this time was in my carry on. Im not sure what the problem is with it, there is no heating element in it.

Haven area is for "Paying" Haven guests. As others has said she can some direct to the cabin. If you talk to the concierge he/she may allow dining for a fee. I have asked my Haven conierge a few times if i could have a couple join us for dinner (willing to pay the fee). Both times i received the permission and both times he/she did not charge me the posted fee.
