As someone who has enjoyed the benefits of Discoverer level in the past, I think this is quite a decrease for those voyages of fewer than ten days. I do appreciate the internet and laundry, but am disappointed in the lack of the champagne brunch, for example. It was a treat on our last Az sailing, and I was looking forward to another. Oh well.:(

We stayed in Salerno overnight on a land trip two years ago. Had a great day taking the local boat to Positano, and the local bus back. You do have to walk uphill to get the bus. Great scenery, of course. Bus ride was an adventure on the narrow roads! You can search online for times, prices, etc. and see if this suits you.

We are recently back from SE Asia cruise and followup in Bali. We enjoyed a wonderful day with Ngurah Wira (ngurah501@gmail.com) and his friend Agus (gusti.musica@yahoo.com), who is a cabin steward from our ship that we met on the plane to Bali as he started his two month leave. They took us to many places in Bali, after enquiring what our interests were. Their English was very good, and driving was safe (do NOT try driving on your own!). Rate was very reasonable. Recommended!

Yes, and it was a very orderly process. But, we were one of the earlier groups off (shortly after self-debarkation), so I don't know about later in the morning.

We were just there on the package -- hotel was fine, free parking was great, shuttle was practically nonexistent. There was no ordering of departures in the am, so quite a zoo of people. We waited about 45 min. outside in a line, saw only 1 shuttle going to the airport, and decided to share a taxi van to the cruiseport with another couple. Decided to take a cab ($30) back as well rather than wait for hours. At least the free parking for 11 days made up for it.
