  1. Yep. Just a part. And there is no competition at sea. Some want to cherry pick and say XYZ cruise line has better offers than ABC casinos. So what? XYZ has a better loyalty program. So what? Carnival has chosen not to compete on largesse. They want cruisers who like the brand. And it makes sense not to get in a bidding war. Let the other cruise lines give away the profits.
  2. Catch of the day was Spada. (aka swordfish). I think the biggest serving I have ever had. and delicious.

Cruise ship casinos are nothing like land based casinos - you are captive and can't go to the casino next door on the current cruise. Nobody is irreplaceable, the customer isn't always right, and frankly some need to be fired.

  7. As I've mentioned before, Carnival upped the allocation of casino rooms post covid to get people on the ships and cash flow going. Now they are dialing back. They really don't need to give any away.
  8. They could come after you, or ban you, or anything else legal. The terms and conditions of the offer should spell it out for you. I suspect too many gamblers were booking casino deals and then didn't bother to show up.
  9. Back in the day, I think this may have been where Keith Richards first performed
