Do you think it's worth it?
Nope, that's why we didn't jump at the so called deal when the upsell fairy called. They offered to move us (3) from an OV to a GS for $600. That $600 was the difference between the two cabins. :(

Pillows too?? ;)
Yesirree! :D

It might open up again. Keep checking and do so at different times of the day.

Congrats to your husband!!!!

Keep an eye out on the cruise rates. I booked our OV back in April and right after the price went up and stayed that way. A few days ago the price of balcony rooms came down. I called and upgraded us (3) for $180 total.

There's Junkanoo Beach. It's a public beach that's about a 15 minute walk from the terminal. As you exit the port, it's to the right beyond Senior Frogs.

$40 price by booking with cruise or by who? Sorry confused.
Thanks.
Sorry, just now saw this. The $40 price is Paradise Cove's price, not Carnival's excursion price. Carnival charges $79 for the same excursion.

I've read on another site "that cannot not be named" ;) where a few of the members there did not particularly like her. They said that she really shouldn't be a CD.

We are in our first ever Ocean Suite, and she offered us a Grand Suite for a mere $598.00 more!:eek::eek: I told her thank you very much, but we just can't afford that.
Our last cruise we had an OV. Got a call offering to move to a GS for $600. I turned it down as the $600 was the difference between the two rates. Nothing special there.

You get a top sheet...............and a blanket. :D

If I purchase the social plan, can others use my device and log into their facebook, messenger etc., accounts?
Yes they can. They can even use it on their device, but you have to log out of yours first.

It's 4.
Nice discount. ;)

Wonder if they will update their website. Copied from Carnival.com FAQs.
We offer three different types of plans that can be purchased for either a 24 hour period or for the entire length of the cruise at a discount - price for voyage plans vary by length of cruise:
Social ($5 USD per day)
Value ($16 USD per day)
Premium ($25 USD per day)
OP received a discount. They had the Value Plan for a 6 night cruise and paid $72.
16 x 6 = 96
If a discount weren't given, then the OP would have paid $96 instead of $72.

On our Fantasy cruise it was on the last port day.

I do carry cancel for any reason coverage, but it looks like there is a 48 hour prior to sailing clause.
Sure is.
-
What is your source for this info?
-
It still ends up being cheaper than getting drinks from the bar.

Wife's sis was supposed to deliver her kid last week. Didn't happen, and now we have to cancel our departure that was leaving today. Hope my insurance covers this.
Unless you have "Cancel for Any Reason" coverage, I don't think you'll get reimbursed.
I'm sorry, you had to make that choice. You have to do what's best for your family situation.

Bonine doesn't come in a non-drowsy formula, only less drowsy than Dramamine. As per Bonine's web site....... Products.
My dh and daughter suffer with motion sickness. The first day my dh took Bonine as a precaution. The next day our daughter was feeling a little queasy and took one as well. It did not make either one sleepy.

Yep, keep checking. More will open up.

This was my 14th cruise and I never had a problem before, but I will never not check again. I know that it can happen anywhere. They also say that they can live in headboards. I will pull apart everything next time. I can't go through this again. It is so painful and itchy.
I am sure that it will be cleared up by October. I hope that they are addressing the problem on this cruise. Try to change the cabin # anyway.
I'm not going to change cabins as I am happy with the one I have.

I was in cabin #7396 and my daughter was in #7398. I would really love to know if anyone else was affected. At first I thought they mosquito bites, but I knew they looked really different. Really tiny and in small line clusters. When I got off the ship and looked them up, I knew.
Do you not pull the covers back and check out the bed beforehand?
Well, I'll let you know in October. I just upgraded to 7396 last night.

I guess I was just a little disappointing. I had no idea there was such a wealth of info out there and I would have thought the rep would have mentioned it instead of offering it as an upgrade.
I haven't been on a cruise yet but I feel like a veteran after perusing these forums :)
Unfortunately, not all PVP's will warn you of such things. Sorry you experienced this.
Have you called back to see if you can switch rooms?

There are lockers for rent, but I don't know where they are in relation to the cabanas. Personally, I would not leave the camera in the cabana while you go swimming. I've read on here about people sneaking in them and stealing food. If they steal the food, then what else would they take?
We aren't renting a cabana, but we will rent a locker for my daughter to stash her SLR while we're snorkeling.
