Has anyone successfully paid their shore trip with OBC? If not, and I pay with CC , an I able to cancel shore tours online and get refunded.? We have only a small OBC, but want to put this to part of a shore trip as we don't see any need for the credit otherwise. Also, are the shore trips in USD? All our payments are shown in AUD, but no symbol/letters after the shore trip cost advertised. Interestingly, our full payment for the cruise comes up substantially less than what we paid.....maybe not factoring in the TA commission ((more than 20% seems a lot)

Hi, We arrive in June. All the way to the North Cape and midnight sun, passing through many ports. We have generous port times, and a few very long times in port (yay), for example, if we do a tour in Alesund that returns to the town 3.30pm, will the businesses like museums and shops be open late? our ship leaves at 10pm. Thanks 😊

We are in port until 10pm on a Thursday. Does anyone know if places to visit and eat are still open late after 5pm? Planning to do a tour until 3.30pm that leaves enough time for city sightseeing in Summer long day light

Hi, We are in port 8am to 10pm! Summer cruise . I am wanting to book this tour with local trips.no to get as much time sight seeing as possible tours are 6.5hrs long. Has anyone done this tour please and can share your experiences if it is a good trip and not too long just sitting on the bus? Thanks

Hi. Booked during a recent promo to get $300 OBC. However it doesn't show on account. This happened with previous cruises with HAL and RCi , once aboard the statement on the TV showed the credit. We have already booked and therefore full paid for a shore trip through the account, so no credit available there as someone suggested. Emails for answer haven't had any reply. Maybe due to the changes in the system.? Thanks

Thanks I will take a credit card as a backup. I usually advise my bank that I will be travelling, and when I"check in" on a cruise the debit Visa card number is stored, and I think they take a pending amount cleared in advance maybe.? Seems Azamara are behind the times with the IT, hopefully they will have this sorted in the near future.

I still don't understand the problem, I always use my Visa debits card details for cruises and chalk up purchases to my in board account, then it is automatically charged to the card. Are you meaning if you want to withdraw USD for use ashore? We are going to Norway so that won't be a problem.

Doesn't Azamara keep your card details on file for paying any settling of the bill like other cruise lines?

Regarding the Olden to Geiranger, how did you book this please? All my searches come up with tours ex Geiranger, or Olden to the glacier.

Hi, Suggestions from people in the know...we are at this port 7am to 5pm. I think it might be a tender port. IS there plenty to do in the port, or should we book a tour? There is a 5hr one that might suit, but the town and scenery looks beautiful, so should we stay the day in the town? Thanks!
