    Exactly our feelings.

Can you explain to me the difference of cruising from the UK to the med , canaries,Caribbean or anywhere else in the world has any difference of being on a plane for a few hours ,to two or more weeks on a ship mixing with people in various bars restaurants etc. With thinking like that might as well put ur suitcases in loft and leave them there for good

  3. I agree we all see this pandemic in different ways, I would be happy to book fly and cruise when when we are allowed. If we wait for a vaccine to be produced And actually give you immunity it could be years before we do anything, and by then there be carnage in the tourist industry and other industries. At some point we will have to learn to live with it. I can’t see the difference between flying and being on a cruise from UK. Your on a ship for weeks with chances of catching more than this virus, modern planes are deemed to have excellent air conditioning nowadays and your only on it for a few hours .

    just my thought

Have been in touch with TUI and asked about amending my cruise for a land based holiday or a cruise closer to home, the answer was by all means, but it will cost £50 each amendment fee,  yep more than

Strange how we all have differing thoughts and worries about the situation, personally there is no way you would get me on a plane until there is a vaccine. I would love to cruise again in 2021 but will be looking at a cruise line that sails from the UK.

I also forgot to say tui standard holiday start point now pushed back.

See a post from staff on disc 2 off Isle of Wight awaiting to go home to India. They have been waiting 100 plus days in various places. I hope they all get home soon and more importantly stay safe and well

I’ve seen the ships off the coast for some time now, there was about 7 there yesterday I saw from beach of Hayling.

We have booked a two week cruise on D2 in November this year. We sail from Dubai, and onwards to India, Thailand, Malaysia....I remain optimistic things will be back to normal (ish) by then, and really hope so as a visit to Mumbai has long been on our bucket list. 🤞

You will enjoy Mumbai Manchester Red. 😂. We was on Marbella cruise last November Dubai to India and had a great time. Goa a great place too

  8. Can anyone tell me if is usual for TUI to send out online questionnaires after cruise which I was lead to believe happens or maybe they thought better of it for travellers from Gatwick and Birmingham ( 14th November Journey to India) flights as the could of had a deluge of complaints

Maybe a lot cheaper to not use Dubai- more profit for Tui. Classic profit before customer service

You cannot even ring Customer Service without a Premium Number now. Common time to speak to a person is 45 minutes. Guess what you have rung the wrong number. My experience this week due to Disembarkation change.

I am on 1November exit Naples to14 December to should have been Dubai

Think you find it’s a local number for tui cruise, no premium number needed

The Aida ship is Aida Vita and correction its Mein Schiff 5 and they must have sailed through the Strait of Hormuz Maybe the Iranians like the Germans 😎 Also Seabourne Encore and another cruise ship are travelling down the Red Sea and Aida Bella and MSC Orchestra are travelling up the Gulf of Aden

seems everyone else is happy to cruise the Middle East

Maybe insurance has altered there plans, would u not want to be safe, you can always cancel. I don’t think they cancel these ports without consultation with authorities, sometimes you need to just go with the flow and have a good time. And I think ur find that TUI is German so that makes no difference

Are you sure it's not on the excursion list It's on ours for the repositioning cruise from Dubai to Aqaba to Palma in April 9th April 2020 Obviously it's not free

Nope. Not for us, this cruise was rearranged 2 days ago, and if there was a trip for a night trip to Dubai I can’t imagine what time u be back on board in Fujairah. Once again just like the cancelled PO cruise we were on here this one is going pear shape too. 2 extra sea days. You might want to check if ur still going to Dubai, looks like ships won’t cruise through the straits of hormuz for the foreseeable

There no overnight in Dubai . We flying into Dubai and a coach to Fujairah for overnight. Been offered a free coach into Dubai next day but with a 2 hour both way trip I think we’re give it a miss. Many on our roll call have cancelled.
