We love the Bar Hop. Going for our third time in January.  Just cross over the road and head left/north.  You can miss Senor Frogs. It's just outside of the "mall" area.  Enjoy!!!

Us too. Right down to calling it "gen-pop."  It's Haven or nothing.  BTW - we were on this cruise too; we probably saw each other   Loved Christian and Darwin and Regina in the bar.

We got off the ship and went through the port and found their "hut" which was just outside of the main port area. Our driver William was very knowledgeable and helpful.  He took us to see the sloths/monkeys/birds/deer, etc. and then we stopped at a gas station where we stocked up on beer (and a Styrofoam cooler) and we drove around the island.  It was really windy so no beaches for us but he took us up to a high point where we could see our ship and take pictures.  I would highly recommend these guys and will use them again on our next visit to Roatan.

Was on Getaway a couple of weeks ago.  Margaritaville is $14.99 pp + gratuity.  You can order drinks at the bar (using UBP or not) without paying cover charge.  I heard a bartender tell a patron they could order nachos at the bar for the menu price ($8.99 I think), sit at the bar, and not pay the "cover charge".

On our last cruise I partied way to hard at the sail away party. I became super good friends with the bartender and he kept making me AMF’s. If you don’t know what those are, look it up because I probably shouldn’t spell it out on here.

I agree. Cozumel Bar Hop is great. We're doing it again in December. A great way to see the other side of the island. We did Mr. Sanchos last year too and it was very nice. We were sick (husband) / hung over (me) so we didn't enjoy it as much as we should have. Nice beach, good food and drinks are included. It was a big crowded, but not so much that we wouldn't go back.

Cagney's has a Sidecar on their signature beverage menu, we tried it one night... LORDY!

Note to self: try the Sidecar at Cagney's ;p:p

- Magnets do not work in The Haven rooms. We brought some magnetic hooks and they do not cling to the walls.

 

- Everything else has been awesome. In our opinion, The Haven is everything it is advertised as and more. The crew is incredible and so friendly.

Thank you for this information. We are in the Haven on the Gem in December. Guess I can leave my magnets at home. One bonus to this is they are fairly heavy and it will leave room (weight-wise) for more stuff. ;p;p

Well, because I felt like it. Thank you for asking! If you're trying to insinuate I'm negative I will just laugh my butt off because I was nothing but positive and loved every minute of my cruise but I also see no reason to lie about the few things that need improvement, in my opinion.

Perfect response and great review. We're on the Getaway in December and have a spa room so your comments on that part were especially helpful!!
