They are connected to the vibe and it isn't crowded so it is a great place to hang out.
I know - the only time it seemed to be busy was when people just happened to "pass by" on their way somewhere else (which is how we found it 😆). We LOVED it.

It's on Escape and Joy too.
Great spot.
Yay! We are on the Joy in 18 days. We will definitely claim our spots at the bar again. Thanks!!

but there’s a small public area just outside of Vibe on Deck 19 with comfy loungers and bar service and one hot tub, without the Vibe fee
We found a similar area to this on our last Breakaway cruise - no hot tub though. We spent hours sitting there at that bar as it seemed that barely anyone knew it was there. Had great bartenders there as well.

And I also remain confused as to why I need to remind my 50-something husband that tasting sunscreen is a BAD IDEA, no matter how good it smells.
I just snorted at work. So funny!!

Learning a few phrases of Tagalog and Indonesian has really paid off in surprising the crew when you say hello or thank you in their own language.
I did this; they seem to love it!

Loving your review. Thanks so much for taking the time to keep us all informed. Enjoy the rest of your cruise!!

At least we have our "faux x-rated fun photo" from a previous sailing in a Haven 2BR.
I am sitting in bubbles up to my shoulders, looking out the window, so my face is in silhouette (so it IS "me"!).
We did the same thing! 🙂 -

What ship where you on?
My under 40 wife would absolutely lose her mind if there was a Sinatra tribute group.
As would my over 50 husband 🙂

I think your question was answered elsewhere, but it is a tap system. We were provided with "leather" card holders in the Haven and even while inside the holder the card still opened the doors. I did have to hand the card over every time I ordered a drink, so you'll probably run into that.
BTW, we never had to show our cards to board or disembark the ship - it was a facial recognition system that really kind of slowed things down. I believe it may have also been taking our temperature, so maybe it doubles as a Covid protocol.
It was, thank you. I got impatient 🙂 We got the leather card holder last time which will work great for my husband (I usually get our drinks so I will keep mine handy). Thanks for the response!! Much appreciated.

Tap system.
Thank you sir!!

@Sthrngary - question for you please and thank you: have the door locks been converted to the "tap" system as opposed to the "insert" system? First world problem 🙂 Thanks so much!!! Jen

One more question if you don't mind. Do you have to insert your keycard to access the room is it now just a "tap" access. Just curious if we'll need to remove our keycards from any lanyard. First world problems I know. 🙂

It was incredible - we have always sailed in basic balcony or mini suite cabins and the 2br family villa was like three of those, with upgraded everything. The bed is a true king size bed with very comfy bedding and pillows. The bath amenities were great and the robes were really nice. I was surprised they provided a combo shampoo/shower gel but it was really nice stuff (Bvlgari).
We got our cabin via bidding. Fortunately we got the one with the large balcony on deck 17 instead of the standard balcony on 18 - we were able to have two full size lounge chairs added to the balcony in addition to two chairs and table. The only weird thing about the balcony is how it can see into the master bathroom - it seems like they maybe hung the privacy blinds backwards or something because even with the blinds down you could see into the shower (but the person in the shower could not see the person on the balcony). A little disconcerting at first, but no one else can see in except people on your balcony. Overall we were incredible thrilled with the cabin and the ship, and were very, very sad to have to get off the ship.
Perfect. Thanks so much! We have bids in on both the regular and large balcony. I may just bite the bullet and upgrade on my own as I have gotten myself set on having the suite 🙂

Thanks, we had a fantastic time! We are officially Haven converts now, so it looks like I need to sell my house.🤑
We made the mistake of sailing Haven 4 cruises ago and we can't cruise any other way! Glad you enjoyed your trip. Were you in a 2-bedroom Haven suite? We have a bid on one and I wondered how it was. Thanks!!!!

Thanks so much for this. We'll be bellyed up in January!

I just recently had my upgrade to the Haven approved for my cruise this coming week. I'm really excited to experience it. Hard part is going through all 43 pages of info here about it haha.
You will love it and never want to go back to "regular" cruising. Enjoy!!
