    Now both Noordam and Eclipse are south of Douglas Island together - but Eclipse is running more than twice the speed of Noordam [no real race there].

    Hurrying into September, are we?? 😂 😂 Anyway it is posted on correct day of the week. Juneau seems to be having quite a few last minute changes - which don't get posted. As long as the BHBs show up as predicted - I can live with the other ships being iffy.

    She looks to be as close as she is going to get. Noordam tomorrow 8 am AST / Noon EDT. Noordam does tend to show up right about 6 am AST. Thanks, Roy and also thanks to Leanne for providing our sail-in threads.

    Tornado watch has been cancelled now, too. - 3 hours early.

    So far still have electricity. Nieuw Amsterdam approaching Grand Island. Idalia stayed further west and didn't appear to make the sharper turn NE that they forecasted. Still getting rainbands and under a tornado watch.

    And Westy is gone. NA tomorrow at 10 am AST / 2pm EDT. I suspect Idalia will have messed up our power - so I doubt I'll be here. Thanks to all my fellow addicts and an extra thanks to Leanne for the thread.

    The last 4 weeks Westy has come into view between 11:50 and 12:10 AST

    Not sure how much we'll see today. Bliss blocking view of ships sailing into the basin; Ovation ahead of Westy and blocking our view of her - most likely. Westy always heads straight for the dock - just around Bliss; and the camera is panning. At least there are no raindrops.
