  1. I believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We were in a Celebrity Suite on Infinity in 2018 and loved it! The full wall of windows is fabulous! A full dining table for in suite meals! Walk in closet with plenty of storage and great area to get ready. Double sinks in the bathroom. If you leave the door to the bedroom open you can wake to the sun. If your significant other wants to get up early, you can keep it shut and not be disturbed. Location at the center of the ship and next to the stairs and elevators is ideal.
  2. I also highly recommend Path Between the Seas if you’re going to the Panama Canal! It’s long and can be hard to get through some of the details, but well worth it! It really helped me appreciate the wonders of the Canal during our transit!!
  3. There's a Roll Call already for this sailing, but it's on Apex, not Edge.
  4. Although mine has worked on several Celebrity ships, it did not work on the Millennium last August.
  5. Mar and Penelope were the best Retreat Concierges we have ever had. We had three generations (my mom, me, and my son) on the Summit in June and they were BEYOND helpful!!!! Always so friendly and bending over backwards to make our cruise as wonderful as it could be!! Please tell them that Carolyn, Lisa, and Jake say hello! And we miss them!
  6. If you search for it, put in April 2024, then filter by Solstice. It departs from Sydney on April 9, 2024.
  7. We'll be on the Sydney to HNL with you as well in April 2024! Would love to continue on to Vancouver, but the DH still works and doesn't want to retire yet - he says he has to pay for my cruising addiction 😁
  8. So excited to follow along on your live report! They're always enjoyable and informational! We were supposed to be on your Reykjavik to Boston leg before our son decided to get married, so now we're going next year.
  9. We had three adults (adult son) in a Celebrity Suite in June and all three of us received the same perks, including OBC.
  10. We just got off Summit on June 12, and I have to say the Chair Hog situation was off the charts. It was really disappointing that chairs would go unused for hours and nothing was done about it. Having said that, this was no different than on the Silhouette in February. We ate in Tuscan one night and the food was great! Much better than Tuscan on Silhouette. The pastries at Cafe al Bacio are wonderful and well worth the line that formed at times, although it went quickly. The internet was very sporadic, even with the premium package. I wouldn't depend on it if you needed to work onboard.
  11. It has been my experience that, after paying, I ask them to put through an immediate request to “ticket” the flight. This usually happens then within 5 business days. After that I have worked with the airline for anything needed.
  12. Jim and Iain, As everyone has said - I'm sending an immense THANK YOU for including us all in your adventure! I'm very sad to not have this thread to look forward to everyday...like when you finish a book and you really miss the characters afterwards! Cheers! And safe travels home! Lisa and Brent
