  1. Allot of souvenir shops carry them with the Islands name painted on it. So, I think legally you can since its a souvenir. I found this beautiful shell once at St Thomas and when I got home, I felt so guilty that some little creature lost his / her home or was looking for a new one, that when we went back the following year, I took it back and tossed it back in the water. I personally dont take anything home that is native to the island. ( shells, rocks, sand....etc. ) We are there to visit and explore...leave these things for others to see as well, so I dont take anything and I live by that on every cruise. :)

  2. I wondered why I had a gold one. I was in a JS for my first cruise and it was gold. I thought that they just changed the seapass card. That is an interesting tidbit of information to know.

last week when I was on Indy. I soaw someone with a Gold card and asked and it was for Suite Guests.

  3. While I love aft balcony cabins, I would be wary of deck 6 on the Voyager class. The balcony overlooks a large open deck as shown on Darkwolfe's photo link. I'd go for deck 7 upwards despite the structures

deck six has that big area in front of you that is quite a ways from the water. DW and I usually go for deck 7 or higher, but aft is still great. See if your travel agent can get you up one deck at least, if not, Im sure you wll still enjoy it.

  4. We have 9322 booked on Mariner next month - how was noise from elevators? Also, are the balcony walls plexiglass/see through? I"m looking forward to some fresh sea air and relaxing on the balcony as we've only ever had interior cabins! Guess my only concern would be if we were beside smokers, but I guess we can't control that! Thanks,

We did not hear the elevators at all. Occcasionally we'd hear a loud person coming back to thier cabin late night, but nothing major. The side walls on our balcony were metal, but Im not sure if its cuz we had a JS , or the position of the balcony, but most are plexiglass, but you CANNOT see through them. Have fun....

  5. DW and I are Aft lovers but we got a good deal on a Middle of the Hump cabin 9318, on Explorer for the 9 night out of Cape Liberty. What a nice cabin !! I still like the view better from the Aft but the middle of the hump is quite nice cuz you can see the whole side of the ship. It was a JS so the DW loved the walk in closet too. If I cant get an Aft cabin I will surely try to get this cabin again if possible. DW says its a coin flip for her....

  6. This is an easy one. As you can see below, we like the Navigator. Anyway, we had a great waiter the first time and when we went back the second time our group got moved to his section. The third time, we requested him and we got him. We all got along so well with him, we exchanged e-mails and write to eacher from time to time. If / when we go back on Navigator, we will request him again too. He was very helpful and didnt forget your name and never forgot special requests...etc

His name is Ercan and he is from Turkey.
