That's disappointing 😞. When I read the description of the night I wasn't too excited to be honest.

What night was the White Night Party?

    Thank you.

White night was in Kotor but was rained off and was moved to the Cabaret lounge and windows. (it was the only wet evening of the whole cruise).

  2. We just completed an embarkation at Fusina. The bag drop at Maritimma was very smooth and were quickly on a bus to Fusina where the main checkin took place on the ship. The buses wait until nearly full so even if you arrive early you will have to wait if lots of others have not done the same.  The normal 2.00pm checkin time was given on our documents but we dropped our bags at about 11.45 and we're transferred and on the ship by 12.45.

    Hi

My first post so please be gentle:)

My wife and I are on the Amazara Pursuit, leaving Venice on the 19th of June, has anyone any experienced departure from here as it seems a bit of a minefield and the Azamara reps are a bit vague when speaking to them, thanks in advance.

We have experienced this twice. You checkin at Maritimma and are then taken by coach to Fusina to board the ship. You are formally checked in there onboard the ship- photo taken and passport scanned etc.  Not sure of procedure if ship leaves from Choggia. The coach journey to Fusina is about 40 minutes.

Considering you are getting 10% in much less than a year, annualized, that's like 15%.  Ain't no bank going to match that rate.

And thanks for not writing "maths".  I never understood the use of the plural! 😁

EDIT:  The annualized interest is probably MUCH higher than 15%.  I erroneously assumed that you had paid 8 months earlier, but I think you paid 3 months earlier?  I wish I was better at math...

Problem is no bank will give any interest on OBC. Remember its not real money. Try using it to book another cruise while onboard.

Easy question. Are flat whites, cappuccinos, expressos, included in the basic beverage package ?

Yes these are included for everyone.

Right. Good that your husband suggested the test.  As I remember, it was negative. The other ‘tummy bug’ that there is a test for is rotavirus. Was that tested for? Unfortunately, there is no test for the most common GI viruses.
Whatever it is, ships are required to report GI issues when 3% or more of the guests and crew have gotten ill. I don’t know if that many have become ill.

Enough about upset tummy’s! It’s making me feel ill!  Hope all are recovering well.

Yes 3% is correct and it is 2% when sailing into a port in USA.

I must confess a failure to see what the Atlas Bar delivered on Onward! We used it three evenings during pre-dinner times, aligned to specialty restaurant visits, and there were very few patrons in the venue.

I think it depends who is on board each cruise. On our three Onward cruises two have seen the Atlas bar very busy (difficult to get a seat) and on the other cruise it was not busy except later in the evening.

An additional question - I understand that to upgrade from the Premium drinks package to the Ultimate you simply pay the difference in the daily rate. But I've read a suggestion that if you ask for a spirit from the Ultimate list there is only a "slight upcharge" that reflects their difference between the a Premium level spirit and the desired Ultimate level spirit. Does anyone have any experience with this?

If this is not clear I'll make up an easy example (not using real prices). If a scotch listed on the premium list costs $10 and a scotch listed on the Ultimate list costs $12, are you charged just the $2 difference? Or, since you've ordered something not included in your package do you pay the full $12?

You do pay the full cost of any drink not included in the package you are on.

Hi - I saw one person mentioned that suite guests are able to have breakfast in Aqualina. Can others confirm that is the case, and if it is available on all ships?  I don’t see it mentioned anywhere on the Azamara web-site. Thank you.

Yes the Aqualina breakfast for suite guests is available on all ships.

Gee, $8.95 per day seems like a bargain.  Is that on top of the regular internet package which you’d also have to buy?   Honestly, I can’t imagine that they have upgraded any part of their internet service to the point that many people could be streaming video at the same time.   I’d definitely have to see it to believe it.

Yes the $8.95 is on top of you normal Internet cost. The normal cost varies depending on your loyalty level.

Do you know if they have upgraded the system generally to "High speed" or an extra for fee service

There is an extra fee for the streaming service. It costs $8.95 per day per device.
