We tend to get the Celebrity deal and little else.

Although I do like the sight of a corridor with unmarked doors (find it intriguing) if you want to put a sign on your do so but not to tacky or rude.

Going on Eclipse on a Baltic cruise soon and would like some information on where she berths at all POC. There seems to be little by way of reviews on this years itinerary.

Figures for 2015 show that in the week specified :

Dubrovnik Max 34 C (93F)

Kusadasi Max 36C (96F)

Santorini Max 27C (80F)

Kata Max 30 C (86F)

These figures can only be seen as a guide and obviously can fluctuate. Climate is expected but weather is what you get.

According to Rick Steves guide to Northern European Ports (well worth having) bus #26 goes from the docks to Tivoli and seems to be the bus that you need for tourist Copenhagen.. Price is around 99Skr entry (about £10; $15) Fairground Rides are extra , I think about 25Skr but you may need more than one ticket hence a 199 Skr multi ride ticket can be good value.

I would like a good ship that goes to the smaller Mediterranean ports and ignores the larger ports (except perhaps for embarking/disembarking as those ports can be convenient for airports).

I have just read that for UK customers, euro exchange rates are poor at the moment due to our impending referendum. In fact the lowest since 2008.

Correct and still dropping as investment is shedding a liability and going elsewhere. I do not know what will happen when the referendum result is published ....will the £ go up or down is the question.

Are the pastries/cakes etc also free for those with the classic soda package?

Do you mean the statement on how you want the payments processed....by Celebrity or Bank/card issuer?

What about drinks from SLUSH ? Are they included in the Classic Soft Drink (Non-Alcohol) package?

The pasties etc are free but the beverage (tea; coffee etc) are chargeable - but the are included in the drinks packages -the classic package does the job!

No need to bring water on board as others have pointed out just use your drinks package. When passing a bar ask for a bottle -its never been a problem for us - we keep bottles in the stateroom/cabin cooler.

Celebrity has a good product but from reading the reviews on production shows it may be spoiling the ship for a spot of tar! However I believe its best to decide for yourself and as the majority of cruiser passengers do not post on CC I am going to wait and see.

May and September are good for the med (unless you want it hot) June can also be OK. July, August are popular holiday times in Europe and countries (e.g. France) can have all August off work (although of course not everyone is on holiday).

Ohh Dear....As I am traveling on Eclipse with two young musicians who do like their shows on a cruise Celebrity may be losing future clients! The shows are major part of the cruise experience and expectations can be high. Not a place to cut back!

Thomson have a good product but do need newer ships and I hope they keep delivering at least the same on these other ships.

Kevinyork many thanks. The shows we watched while on Reflection have been quite entertaining but it seems that we will have to reserve judgement about those on Eclipse.

I have also heard of a norovirus situation at present on Eclipse - can you comment upon the impact on board? We always take our own hand sanitize foam which is I am told better than the gel that tends to be used.

I arrive in Warnemunde in August in a party of 4. We are looking at enjoying the delights of the Molli but can you give some advice please?

What is the best and easiest way to get to and from the cruise port to Bad Doberan? It seems that a bus is the least complicated and direct route but most info seems to be about the train travel. Any idea on costs ?

I am aware that Eclipse has just started the Baltic Cruise Itinerary but does anyone have information on the entertainment on offer in the theater?

Perhaps Celebrity should have a ''child catcher" as in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

Although we travel in UK school holidays I have never seen a problem child on Celebrity (other than the ones I have to take with me).

Are cases of Noro more prevalent on cruises where ther is a good percent of children? Or does the cruise with older people tend to suffer more?

Its usually one drink at a time / card. But I have found that they are not bothered if you have two cards
