Good morning. Ship time is 1039. I slept well last night so maybe my body is adjusting to the toke changes or maybe I was just wore out. I'm gonna hold off until lunch to eat since it's almost that time. Gonna get some walking in first.

I'm back in the room now and hopefully I can fall asleep OK tonight. We will lose another hour tonight making us five hours ahead of Eastern time with just one final hour to go before matching Barcelona time. Good night everybody 😴.

That sucks. Hopefully you will be able to find that itinerary again and it not turn into a casino cruise. But....the nicer itineraries usually do. Carnival just can't fill them with their average clientele.

Still very busy. Elite would be nice, but I don't have the bankroll to qualify for that. I would be happy to just get DOUE. Even if my cabin wasn't comped, DOUE would be a game changer. Unfortunately I've mostly moved on from spending money in Carnival's casinos so I probably won't ever see my offers include that.

Nope, I invest 10x my bet and move on. So If I'm playing $2 a spin, once I have lost $20 I'm done with that machine. That $20 does not last too long these days.

It is also an Elite cruise. It is also a cruise that was offered to me as a comp more than a year out. Aka - everyone who gets offers got an offer of some kind 😆. I'm the same, I machine hop frequently. If I can't do that I don't enjoy it and I don't play.

All these open spots and this guy comes all the way down here to the end by me and lights up. I realize I'm in the smoking section but the other side is locked and I purposely sat at the end minus one because someone left an empty pack of cigarettes on the end table. Oh thank goodness, he is leaving. Gonna move the trash and hide the two closest ashtrays to me and see if I can have five minutes of fresh air.

I will never see an Elite invite. If I got a good deal on premier or ultra I would book them and know I won't be able to enjoy any playing time. My other offers are always better though so I book those and then it's luck of the draw if it is busy. This one is beyond busy.

No chance of getting a drink if I need to be actively playing. I did not see a single machine without a body at it. Not feeling people-y right now so I'm sitting outside semi secluded listening to the waves crash against the ship.

I'm used to a couple dozen die hards. This was almost the entire casino full waiting for the machines to come on. It is unreal. I try to be understanding since I'm only here because the casino comped me and I know if they comped me, they only filled this thing by giving away rooms to gamblers 😆. It's still frustrating though when I want a drink.

Found one last cruiser in the fridge. Transfered it to the mobile bar with plans of getting a fresh one from the casino. Casino has not opened yet and nearly every single machine has a body in it. I can't imagine how long it will take to get a drink so I'll just drink my leftover and reevaluate later. Variety music with Teo and Jerry. Freefalling 🎶

Tonight's fly on entertainer had travel delays. Comedy has been moved to the theater and karaoke has been moved to the comedy club. I'm out of drinks. I was going to buy one in the duty free shop after security today. I have heard you are allowed to do that in Europe ports. They did not have anything I would drink, and we still had to go through security again on the ship so I am not sure if they would have confiscated it if I had tried. I may buy a bottle at dinner tomorrow. I'm not gonna stay out too late tonight anyway I don't think. I'm pretty tired.

We did some doctoring of the dishes. I took the tilapia and Brussel sprouts and dirty rice and gave my mom the chicken and green beans and mashed potatoes. The fish didn't have a lot of spices but everything else on the dish did. Pork was a touch toilet dry. Overall I still really enjoyed the dishes. Dessert is hazelnut and peanut cake 607

Tuna was nice and fresh. Too small which is typical for this dish. I have more food coming though 😋 Smoked pork loin and chicken marsala 550 My mom's blackened tilapia.

Penne was good. Tuna tartar 538.

Doing dinner early tonight we are both hungry and my mom has some shopping events she wants to attend tonight. Checked in at 504, table assigned at 506.
