  1. Little late opening probably due to weather. Only half is ready so I'll go back up for some sweets when it opens. The sign says tuna but I think that is salmon.
  2. So far the rain is staying off away from us, or more likely the captain is keeping us away from it. Deck 4 is closed and the wind I can hear through the window is quite intense. I'll check out the upper decks when I go up for tea time but I imagine they will be closed off as well.
  3. They are kind of boring but no not worn just seems like it due to the beige colors.
  4. Wifi is definitely slowing down again. Those carpet pics took some time to load.
  5. Some more carpet samples The cabin corridors. This is the theater and this pattern looks like someone spilled cake which then got smashed into the fabric.
  6. I can see more heavy rain in the distance. If I disappear it is weather related. The inside is surprisingly quiet for such an ugly day outside. I wonder if the rocking has put people in their cabin.
  7. Taking today's coffee by the window to watch the angry sea.
  8. We've had two safety drills this cruise so we should be prepared 😀
  9. Mousse is mostly air, you could order it and be ok 😀. Between the other two, as good as the pie was that cheesecake was the clear winner. Since it takes five sea days to get this menu, I will probably not remember that before I see this menu again.
  10. Grabbing the suitcase for my mom and my window got hit by a huge wave. My back was turned so I missed it but there was a loud boom and the room was momentarily blacked out. Scared me half to death as I was not expecting it.
  11. The pecan pie was good. The crusted was nothing special but at least it wasn't dried out. The filling itself was delicious. The winner was the cheesecake though. I could go for another but I want to snack at tea time so I'll resist the urge.
  12. I enjoyed both mains. The meatloaf was good but I do prefer the version they had at dinner. The BBQ sauce had a nice flavor, just slightly sweet without being too sweet. The frittata was also good. My mom was eyeing it but I did not share 😀.
  13. That was quite tasty. I loved that dipping sauce very flavorful and it had some heat to it. BBQ meatloaf My mom got the Cuban panini
  14. We got choppy seas again. Still looks nice out though.
  15. I've been taking a non drowsy pill or so it claims But my usual knocks me out.
  16. Better for my waistline and wallet as well 😆. I enjoyed the UDP on Oasis but so..much..food. I need it to not go on sale next time so I am not tempted. Full price is too expensive but when I see a bargain the temptation to buy kicks in.
  17. Going to collect my mom and grab some lunch now.
  18. This is where the bureaucratic automation comes in. Pasteurization is of course a good thing, and the regulations were passed with the spirit of protecting the public. But no exemptions are made for common sense items like clotted cream which does not seem to be killing people despite its wide consumption in the UK. Then there is what the regulations have done to the imported wine. Bargains in May are rare these days but I will be keeping an eye out. I'm going to go through withdrawals as well 😆
