Lunch was quite nice today. I don't usually have trouble with portion control at cruise ships buffets. Mostly mystery stews and casseroles but this was a nice array of selections to choose from.

Gelato will have to wait a bit longer.

Quite possibly my best plating yet 🤣 Very nice spread today. Italian day so carb loading today.

I forget too. I've left it before because I don't think about it 😆. Best benefit that you earn at classic and so many of us seem to forget.

Don't forget you get a free scoop of gelato too 😋. I'm going to redeem mine this afternoon so probably no more room for al bacio gooidies.

Promenade deck is definitely your best bet for quiet reading spot. There is background music still for some odd reason, but it is turned down low and it is overall much quieter and relaxed out here. When in motion you will also get the sounds of the ocean.

It has generally been turned down this sailing. Not today for some reason. I have found Celebrity passengers to be quieter and less rowdy, but the background noise to be almost as loud as Carnival and Royal Caribbean. I've grown used to it, but I was surprised how loud it was my first time on Celebrity. The noise is inside too. They have those beautiful areas to sit in both The Hideaway and Library but they are open to the Foyer and they become unusable for sitting amd relaxing any time in the evening as there is either an event or a DJ. Unusable on sea days as there is an art auction or trivia event most of the day. Basically only good on port days....unless rehearsals are taking place. It's a beautiful ship and I'm having a great time, but quiet it is not.

Yes! Good choice and quieter than the top decks.

Lots of shaded seating just above the pool deck. It's not going to be extremely secluded as you will be right above whatever is going on at the pool deck below. They also have a few seats back by the sunset bar under shade that's a little more secluded. Overhead music is pretty loud here right now.

Rehearsals for tonight's show now in grand foyer. Lost my quiet spot. Somebody to love 🎶

How big of a deal breaker are the glass railings? There aren't many spots with unobstructed views.

I tried that for the first time recently and enjoyed it. Never used to like Brussel sprouts now I eat them all the time 😋 Yes and no. More than it looks, but I still couldn't sit in it. The chair I'm sitting in in the opposite side is much more comfy.

It is usually every sea day, but on my TA last year it was I believe only on two selected sea days. It may have been more and I missed it, but not every sea day. Cunard tea time is excellent. This will be nowhere near that level. Enjoy it as a mid afternoon snack and tea break but don't expect to be blown away. Also don't let them push the upcharge teas if that's not what you want, they tend to not bring around the included teas for several minutes until they have sold people the premium teas who thought the experience came with a cost. Love doing TAs!

Too noisy in my quiet spot today in ensemble lounge. Crew vacuuming, some kind of banging going on outside, and too many chatty Kathy's. Moved to the hideaway, still not super quiet but feels a little more secluded.

Baked Alaska is one of those things that doesn't quite seem to ever come out right. Carnival's is pretty good but I have to order two as the slice is razor thin. Buy a wig, easier to maintain than all that hair 😆

Not Craig, but I won't tell 🤭. Put some champagne goggles on and close one eye I'm seeing you across the aisle though 😆. You looked pretty disinterested in that picture, but when simply the best came on, her and not Craig hit the dance floor.
