  1. Piece of paper with written Date and Time, next to the test result and ID. 🙃
  2. That is under full terms and conditions, but never had anything other than the 15 specialty coffees/teas on my package or card in previous years. Thank you for pointing that out. I wonder if that is just old Information or possibly relates to some other foreign port embarkation. Again….inconsistencies.
  3. What did your cruisehealth tool say? The same conflicting information? You mean’t to say…800 tested positive, right? You did make the news…big time. Off topic…partially.
  4. Exactly. Seems this is a general statement for the Enhanced voyages. Wish they would update this too. There were a lot of complaints in December about conflicting statements on the CruiseHealth tool. Those Dec guests received an email before their cruise, that clearly stated a self administered test was acceptable. So, we still have time for that. 😂 That was the same time that they updated the FAQ on the website, Dec 19th. I’m just going to order more emed tests maybe 2 weeks before. IF I need to.
  5. I wonder if they will be part of the entertainment? I bet the parties will be longer into the evening. I don’t see any interference with the theater for the shows. Maybe during the day. They may, however, sew the early show, so they can eat later in the MDR? We have been on ships with large groups and didn’t notice much, except some venues were closed due to private meetings or parties. That large, they may scatter the times for them to attend.
  6. Honolulu is one of the strictest. Not fair. There goes those chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Coming in to the US…no food…okay but leaving the US…NOT
  7. I beg to differ. We only take 2 per person. These are US ports. Ft Lauderdale, LA, SF and Honolulu! YES, they do say you need to stop at the alcohol desk behind me. This is on embarkation day. If you try to keep going, as I have done before….Miss Miss you must stop at the desk!!!! They have even called over another security agent to tell me. Believe me, I know this. Happens every time. Not at the ports of call, except Honolulu does have a desk. But, embarking is another story. Really? So, I just show the PCL agent my bottles. We only take an extra bottle each. No big deal. There are plenty of other people at the desk too. We take a lot of b2b’s and I do take 1 bottle per person per voyage, which IS allowed. The security agent checks my bag and says stop at the desk to declare and watches me. I show my b2b itinerary to PCL agent and they mark it down on a paper and send me off to the ship. Done! I’ve never had this happen embarking in Europe, but the US, definitely.
  8. Did they update your travel summary to reflect this? Ours still has the general verbage. The CruiseHealth tool also still looks like general verbage too, dated Dec 2nd. Does yours read the same as mine in my post #31?
  9. Not true. We have been on cruises from 7-28 days since the restart. It still IS 15 per coffee package, not dependent on cruise length. We buy the package so we will have enough for our total cruise. For the 28 night cruise, I bought 2 packages.
  10. And that’s the way it appears to read. Just don’t like the CruiseHealth tool verbage. Thank you again for your input! Appreciate it.
  11. Totally agree. Who told you only medically observed? A phone agent at PCL?
  12. Thank you so much for finding this. So, the Q&A section of the website does not state the same. Says: I already purchased my cruise. Can I upgrade to either Princess Plus or Princess Premier?Absolutely! You can upgrade from Princess Standard to Princess Plus for only $60 per day or to Princess Premier for $80 per day. If you already have Princess Plus on your reservation, you can upgrade to Princess Premier for the difference, either $20 or $30 per-day, based on the price of your original package. To do so, simply contact Princess via our Contact Center, or contact your Travel Advisor. Please note that you may upgrade from Princess Plus to Princess Premier pre-cruise or on board the ship. Another PCL contradiction. @ROXIETHEHORSE want to make sure you see this date. Not sure of your sail date. Sorry if this affects you.
  13. I go through the motions. 😁 I did have one port agent ask me if I had a QR code! I think he just wanted to know I was in the green lane, to send me through. Lol Who knows. I definitely wouldn’t worry about it, but I’m a planner and like to get ready ahead of time. If it didn’t work, then I’d say, forget it.
  14. I’ve seen it open 59 days before to 12 days before sail date. So, just keep checking. Maybe someone on your roll call will post when it opens.
  15. They’ll get it fixed. Not sure when, but that’s money… Hopefully, they won’t break something else when they fix it.
  16. I am so glad you brought this up! Would you go by this dated Dec 19th or by the CruiseHealth tool for the specific voyage dated Dec 2nd? Health Protocols Enhanced Protocols This specific booking and/or voyage follows our COVID-19 Enhanced Protocols for vaccination and testing requirements. Vaccination Requirements All guests 18 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated. A booster dose is required for guests 18 years of age and older whose final dose of an approved/authorized COVID-19 vaccine is older than 5 months. Only one booster dose is needed to be considered boosted. Guests under 18 years of age do not need to be vaccinated, have a booster dose or apply for an exemption. Testing Requirements All guests ages 5 and older are required to take a medically observed COVID-19 Test. PCR or medically observed Antigen COVID-19 test taken within 3 days prior to embarkation, or Medically observed or self-administered antigen home test taken within 3 days before embarkation. The last paragraph: Testing requirements: States: All guests ages 5 and older are required to take a medically observed Covid 19 test. Then the last sentence says: Medically observed OR self administered antigen home test taken within 3 days before embarkation. Which is it? Required Medically observed or self administered? Contradictory statements in the tool and the FAQ on the website.
  17. Maybe if you’re solo? We just traded our mini bar for 2 coffee pkgs in Nov/Dec.
  18. Read the post at the beginning, which @DHP1 gave from the PCL website. If you click on Enhanced voyages, you’ll see a list of the cruises that require vax and testing. Most of the restrictions are related to those cruises. https://www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/frequently-asked-questions/us-cruises/
  19. I remember that story! So you had no problems? That’s great. I bet your friend was happy.
  20. Say it ain’t so! 😂Thank you for the response. I think it is a secret 🤐 code. 😝
  21. Go on the App Click on Personal information and documents move down to the gray bar Suggested click on arrivals pick your time Then, if you’re in the green lane and have completed everything else. You’ll see the QR code on the top ofvthe page. That is…if your arrival groups are open yet.
  22. No they do not. I always get a large latte.
  23. Check on your roll call too. See what others are doing.
