Yes. Just line up in the morning early to be first off ship. You shouldn't have a problem as long as no special events and your ship isn't delayed. We do this all the time. You just need to be okay with the possibility that you might miss your flight. If that doesn't stress you out then I say do it. A lot of folks on here will say you shouldn't do it. I've saved myself endless hours of sitting in the airport by doing it but I'm not risk averse so the thought of missing my flight doesn't bother me.

Four nights with kids before Galveston cruise
Denversail replied to rdt123's topic in Gulf Coast Departures
I don’t recall any resorts in Galveston more like a selection of Motels near the beach. If you aren’t looking for access to the beach maybe stay at a nicer hotel in Houston. They are likely more designed for business travelers but you should be able to find some with a nice pool and amenities. -
@cruisemom42 I’ll be solo coming in from Milan via train to Rome for my last night prior to flying home. This will be in early October. I’ll already have spent two nights in Rome pre cruise @ hotel smeraldo. I’m looking for a luxury location that is convenient to the train station (I’ll be picking up my larger 2nd bag at the station) that also has restaurants in walking distance. What would you suggest?

My days of racing to be “first” on the ship or over
Denversail replied to chiguypaul's topic in Royal Caribbean International
For me it isn’t about racing. I’m an early riser and when you mix that with cruise day excitement we typically arrive early. We are always coming from a hotel and not much to do the morning of other than grab some breakfast and head to the ship. -

NCL Prima refuses to pay back missed port of call taxes.
Denversail replied to Bruges's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I do think this is a little shady of NCL. My first thought was their willingness to do cruises to Bermuda in the off season. High port fees and frequently missed. Seems pretty profitable. -
They aren’t making them smoke free. They turned the old Jazz clubs on 4 into a non smoking casino room with 4 or 5 tables and some slots.

Is this really new? I feel like I had the brunch menu on sea days last April on Oasis. As an early riser I personally think the breakfast hours suck. I don’t like eating breakfast in the windjammer.

Question about turn around day of a b2b cruise
Denversail replied to screenname2004's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I switched cabins on my last b2b. The evening before I went and found my new room steward to make sure he was aware that I was moving to that cabin and already on the ship. He assured me he would get the room ready as soon as the prior cruisers left. I also made sure my prior steward knew to move my stuff. After going through the process of getting off and back on with the other b2b cruisers I went to my new room and it was ready. I will say I think this was closer to almost 10 am. My regret in this process was showing up to the theater a little early. They make you wait until everyone is off the ship. I would probably head that way more like 20 to 30 minutes after the time they requested in the future. I will note that I did get some comments from other cruisers when they saw me go to my cabin. Some people actually tried to stop me because cabins weren't ready. The cruising police enforcement. lol -
I’m assuming and please correct me if I’m wrong that the medical center would also require you to take their test before prescribing.

Many illnesses are serious for some people and not others. My question was related to the purpose of testing while on a ship. I didn’t say I would prance around unwell.

Covid isn’t much different now than other viruses you would pick up. Are you saying that if you felt ill and tested negative for Covid you would venture about? I wouldn’t want you sharing those other viruses with me either. That is my point.
